Abstract

A wireless device receives one or more messages. The one or more messages may comprise a first RNTI for a first SPS and a second for a second SPS. A downlink control information (DCI) corresponding to one of the first RNTI or the second RNTI may be received. The DCI may be validated, at least based on a cyclic shift value associated with the DCI, if the DCI corresponds to the first RNTI. Otherwise, the DCI may be validated without considering the cyclic shift value. One of the first SPS or the second SPS, corresponding to the DCI, may be activated in response to the validating being successful.

Claims (53)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device, downlink control information (DCI) comprising one or more fields;

based on a determination that the DCI corresponds to a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resource associated with vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, validating the DCI based on at least one field of the one or more fields of the DCI and not using a cyclic shift field value associated with the SPS resource; and

based on successful validation of the DCI, activating or releasing the SPS resource.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving, by the wireless device, second DCI; and

based on unsuccessful validation of the second DCI, discarding the second DCI.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein a format of the DCI is DCI format 0.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determination that the DCI corresponds to the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication is based on determining whether a cyclic redundancy check of the DCI is scrambled with the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the validating the DCI comprises determining whether a transmit power control (TPC) command for a scheduled physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) field value associated with the DCI is zero.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the validating the DCI comprises determining whether a most significant bit (MSB), of a modulation and coding scheme and redundancy version field value associated with the DCI, is zero.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the validating the DCI comprises determining whether a new data indicator field value associated with the DCI is zero.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving second DCI;

based on a determination that the second DCI does not correspond to the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication, validating the second DCI at least based on a cyclic shift field value associated with a second SPS resource corresponding to the second DCI; and

based on successful validation of the second DCI, activating or releasing the second SPS resource.

9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the validating the second DCI comprises determining whether the cyclic shift field value associated with the second SPS resource is zero.

10. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive downlink control information (DCI) comprising one or more fields;

based on a determination that the DCI corresponds to a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resource associated with vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, validate the DCI based on at least one field of the one or more fields of the DCI and not using a cyclic shift field value associated with the SPS resource; and

based on successful validation of the DCI, activate or release the SPS resource.

11. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to:

receive second DCI; and

based on unsuccessful validation of the second DCI, discard the second DCI.

12. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein a format of the DCI is DCI format 0.

13. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the determination that the DCI corresponds to the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication is based on a determination of whether a cyclic redundancy check of the DCI is scrambled with the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication.

14. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to validate the DCI by determining whether a transmit power control (TPC) command for a scheduled physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) field value associated with the DCI is zero.

15. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to validate the DCI by determining whether a most significant bit (MSB), of a modulation and coding scheme and redundancy version field value associated with the DCI, is zero.

16. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to validate the DCI by determining whether a new data indicator field value associated with the DCI is zero.

17. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to:

receive second DCI;

based on a determination that the second DCI does not correspond to the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication, validate the second DCI at least based on a cyclic shift field value associated with a second SPS resource corresponding to the second DCI; and

based on successful validation of the second DCI, activate or release the second SPS resource.

18. The wireless device of claim 17 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to validate the second DCI by determining whether the cyclic shift field value associated with the second SPS resource is zero.

19. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:

receive downlink control information (DCI) comprising one or more fields;

based on a determination that the DCI corresponds to a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resource associated with vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, validate the DCI based on at least one field of the one or more fields of the DCI and not using a cyclic shift field value associated with the SPS resource; and

based on successful validation of the DCI, activate or release the SPS resource.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further configure the wireless device to:

receive second DCI; and

based on unsuccessful validation of the second DCI, discard the second DCI.

21. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein a format of the DCI is DCI format 0.

22. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the determination that the DCI corresponds to the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication is based on a determination of whether a cyclic redundancy check of the DCI is scrambled with the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the wireless device to validate the DCI by determining whether a transmit power control (TPC) command for a scheduled physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) field value associated with the DCI is zero.

24. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the wireless device to validate the DCI by determining whether a most significant bit (MSB), of a modulation and coding scheme and redundancy version field value associated with the DCI, is zero.

25. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the wireless device to validate the DCI by determining whether a new data indicator field value associated with the DCI is zero.

26. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further configure the wireless device to:

receive second DCI;

based on a determination that the second DCI does not correspond to the RNTI for the SPS resource associated with V2X communication, validate the second DCI at least based on a cyclic shift field value associated with a second SPS resource corresponding to the second DCI; and

based on successful validation of the second DCI, activate or release the second SPS resource.

27. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 26 , wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the wireless device to validate the second DCI by determining whether the cyclic shift field value associated with the second SPS resource is zero.
