SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR LABORATORY TESTING AND RESULT MANAGEMENT
In one embodiment, a method is provided comprising displaying a laboratory test menu on a mobile computing device, where the test menu is variable-based on geographic location; selecting one or more tests from said test menu; and using the mobile computing device to send a laboratory test request to a server.

9 . A method comprising:
using a mobile computing device to schedule an appointment time for a laboratory test;
displaying a laboratory test menu on the mobile computing device, selecting one or more tests from said test menu, wherein the test menu is variable-based on geographic location;
creating a data record that is a location-specific, patient self-ordered laboratory test request; and
using the mobile computing device to send the laboratory test request and appointment information to a server.
10 . A method comprising:
displaying a laboratory test menu on a mobile computing device, selecting one or more tests from said test menu, wherein the test menu is variable-based on geographic location;
displaying pricing of the laboratory tests selected by the user, wherein a total price and line item price are displayed to the user prior to the user sending a laboratory test request, and
having the user confirm the laboratory test request;
creating a data record that is a location-specific, patient self-ordered laboratory test request;
using the mobile computing device to send the laboratory test request and any appointment information to a server.
11 . A method comprising:
capturing an image of a laboratory test request document from a mobile computing device wherein the image is processed after capture to create a corrected image from which data is extracted to include the laboratory test request in association with the user account;
wherein the corrected image is created using at least an image correction algorithm that removes defects in the image associated with fold lines or substantially linear type aberrations in the image;
wherein the corrected image is compared to images of known laboratory forms to compare and correct for data captured from the corrected image;
creating a data record that is a location-specific, patient self-ordered laboratory test.
