METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING AN AUDIENCE LIST BASED ON USER BEHAVIOR DATA
Disclosed is a computer implemented method of creating an audience list based on user behavior data. The method may include receiving, by a processor, filtering criteria for identifying the audience list. Further, the method may include filtering, by the processor, set of users based on the filtering criteria, wherein each user in the set of users is associated with user behavior data. Additionally, the method may include identifying, by the processor, a plurality of users from the set of users based on the filtering, wherein the plurality of users constitutes the audience list.
1 . A system for creating an audience list based on user behavior data, the system comprising:
a processor configured to:
receive filter criteria,
compare the filter criteria to user profiles of a set of users, each user profile associated with behavior data for each user of the set of users, the behavior data acquired during a first period of time,
generate a first audience list including one or more users of the set of users based on the comparison of the filter criteria to the user profiles,
convert the user profiles of the set of users to updated user profiles of the set of users, each conversion based on behavior data for each user of the set of users acquired during a second period of time,
compare the filter criteria to the updated user profiles of the set of users,
generate a second audience list including one or more users of the set of users based on the comparison of the filter criteria to the updated user profiles,
de-identify the first set of users of the first audience list to form a first de-identified audience list,
de-identify the second set of users of the second audience list to form a second de-identified audience list; and
an output configured to:
transmit the second de-identified audience list to the requester.
2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first and second audience lists are identical.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first and second audience lists include at least one different user.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to retrieve behavior data of each user of the first and second sets of users with a web crawler.
5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the processor is further configured to generate the user profiles and the updated user profiles by analyzing the retrieved behavior data with natural language processing, image recognition, audio recognition, video recognition, or combinations thereof.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the first and second periods of time include a common point in time.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processor is further configured to identify an advertisement having a characteristic or criteria directed to the one or more users of the first or second de-identified audience lists.
8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the output is further configured to transmit a bid to an exchange, the bid including an offer to transmit an advertisement to one or both of the first de-identified audience list or the second de-identified audience list.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is further configured to determine a winning bid based on a bid received by the exchange.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the processor is further configured to output a winning advertisement to the users associated with one or both of the first or second de-identified audience lists, the winning advertisement being associated with a winning bid.
11 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the output is further configured to transmit the advertisement to one or both of the first de-identified audience list or second de-identified audience list.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the advertisement is a contextual advertisement.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the filtering criteria include a value corresponding to a parameter, wherein the behavior data of one or both of the first period of time or the second period of time is characterized by the parameter.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the parameter includes one or more of a keyword, an affinity of the keyword, a domain name, a webpage identifier, or a time corresponding to capturing of the behavior data of the first period of time or the behavior data of the second period of time.
15 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the filtering criteria includes a logical expression.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the filtering criteria includes a value corresponding to the parameter.
17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the value is a relevancy score.
18 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the parameter includes a demographic variable or a psychographic variable.
19 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the output is further configured to transmit the first de-identified audience list to the requester.
20 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the requester provides the filtering criteria.
21 . A method for creating an audience list based on user behavior data, the method comprising:
receiving filter criteria;
comparing the filter criteria to user profiles of a set of users, each user profile associated with behavior data for each user of the set of users, the behavior data acquired during a first period of time;
generating a first audience list including one or more users of the set of users based on the comparison of the filter criteria to the user profiles;
converting the user profiles of the set of users to updated user profiles of the set of users, each conversion based on behavior data for each user of the set of users acquired during a second period of time;
comparing the filter criteria to the updated user profiles of the set of users;
generating a second audience list including one or more users of the set of users based on the comparison of the filter criteria to the updated user profiles;
de-identifying the first set of users of the first audience list to form a first de-identified audience list;
de-identifying the second set of users of the second audience list to form a second de-identified audience list; and
transmitting one or both of the first de-identified audience list and the second de-identified audience list to a requester.
