Abstract

A system and method for scheduling tasks associated with changing a personality of a ticketing interface. One or more processors generate interaction scores for each of the plurality of user devices based on receiving interactions between the ticketing engine and a plurality of user devices. The system further generate interaction patterns for each of the plurality of user devices that include a relation between the interaction scores generated for each of the plurality of user devices with the interactions from the plurality of user devices. The system further classify each of the plurality of user devices based on the generated interaction patterns to identify whether a user device from the plurality of user devices is a fraudulent or a non-fraudulent user device and modify interface of the ticketing engine based on the classification of each of the plurality of user devices.

one or more processors; and

a memory coupled with the one or more processors, the memory configured to store instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the one or more processors to:

receive interactions from a plurality of user devices, wherein the interactions are interaction of the user devices with the ticketing engine;

generate interaction scores for each of the plurality of user devices;

generate interaction patterns for each of the plurality of user devices, wherein the interaction patterns comprise:

a relation between the interaction scores generated for each of the plurality of user devices with the interactions from the plurality of user devices such that the interaction score of a first user device of the plurality of user devices changes as a number of interactions of the first user device and the ticketing engine increases;

update the interaction patterns based on change in the interaction score;

classify each of the plurality of user devices based on the generated interaction patterns, wherein the classification comprises applying machine learning techniques to identify whether a user device from the plurality of user devices is a fraudulent or a non-fraudulent user device; and

modify interface of the ticketing engine based on the classification of each of the plurality of user device.

2. The system for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the interaction of the user devices with the ticketing engine comprises tracking each of the plurality of user devices using at least one of IP address, serial number of the user device, MAC address, device signature, cookies.

3. The system for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 1 , wherein higher score indicates that the user device is a fraudulent user device.

4. The system for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 1 , wherein when the user device is identified as a fraudulent user device, apply a delay in processing a ticket purchase request received from the user device from the plurality of user devices at the ticketing engine.

5. The system for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 4 , wherein during the delay, the ticketing engine is configured to increase a number of CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) tests presented to the user device identified as a fraudulent user device.

6. The system for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 1 , wherein modification of the interface comprises modification in at least one of checkout speed, responsiveness of the interface, visibility of the interface, ticket cost, ticket quantity availability, ticket seat availability, authentication level, and availability of the interface.

7. The system for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 1 , wherein modifying the interface occurs when the interaction score falls below a threshold score.

8. A method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, the method comprising:

receiving interactions from a plurality of user devices, wherein the interactions are interaction of the user devices with the ticketing engine;

generating interaction scores for each of the plurality of user devices;

generating interaction patterns for each of the plurality of user devices, wherein the interaction patterns comprise:

a relation between the interaction scores generated for each of the plurality of user devices with the interactions from the plurality of user devices such that the interaction score of a first user device of the plurality of user devices changes as a number of interactions of the first user device and the ticketing engine increases;

updating the interaction patterns based on change in the interaction score;

classifying each of the plurality of user devices based on the generated interaction patterns, wherein the classification comprises applying machine learning techniques to identify whether a user device from the plurality of user devices is a fraudulent or a non-fraudulent user device; and

modifying interface of the ticketing engine based on the classification of each of the plurality of user devices.

9. The method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 8 , wherein the interaction of the user devices with the ticketing engine comprises tracking each of the plurality of user devices using at least one of IP address, serial number of the user device, MAC address, device signature, cookies.

10. The method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 8 , wherein higher score indicates that the user device is a fraudulent user device.

11. The method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 8 , wherein when the user device is identified as a fraudulent user device, apply a delay in processing a ticket purchase request received from the user device from the plurality of user devices at the ticketing engine.

12. The method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 11 , wherein during the delay, the ticketing engine is configured to increase a number of CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) tests presented to the user device identified as a fraudulent user device.

13. The method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 8 , wherein modification of the interface comprises modification in at least one of checkout speed, responsiveness of the interface, visibility of the interface, ticket cost, ticket quantity availability, ticket seat availability, authentication level, and availability of the interface.

14. The method for changing a personality of an interface to a ticketing engine according to profiling of a user, as recited in claim 8 , wherein modifying the interface occurs when the interaction score falls below a threshold score.
