Abstract

The application relates to a secondary battery comprising a package bag and a battery core arranged in the package bag, the positive electrode plate comprising a positive current collector and a positive electrode film disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector and comprising a positive active material; and the negative electrode plate comprising a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode film provided on at least one surface of the negative electrode current collector and comprising a negative active material, characterized in that the positive active material comprises one or more of lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide and lithium nickel cobalt aluminum oxide, and at least a part of the positive active material comprises a single crystal particle; the negative active material comprises a silicon-based material and a graphite material; and the package bag has a sealing width of 3 mm to 8 mm.

Claims (18)

1 . A secondary battery comprising a package bag and a battery core arranged in the package bag, the battery core comprising a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and a separator, the positive electrode plate comprising a positive current collector and a positive electrode film disposed on at least one surface of the positive electrode current collector and comprising a positive active material; the negative electrode plate comprising a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode film provided on at least one surface of the negative electrode current collector and comprising a negative active material, characterized in that

the positive active material comprises one or more of lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide and lithium nickel cobalt aluminum oxide, and at least a part of the positive active material comprises a single crystal particle;

the negative active material comprises a silicon-based material and a graphite material; and

the package bag has a sealing width of from 3 mm to 8 mm.

2 . The secondary battery of claim 1 , wherein the package bag has a sealing width of 3 mm to 5 mm.

3 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the package bag has a sealing strength of from 30N to 200N, preferably from 40N to 100N.

4 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein a ratio of the sealing width to a length of the battery core is from 0.01 to 0.02.

5 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the positive active material has an average particle size of from 8 μm to 12 μm, preferably from 8.5 μm to 10 μm; and/or

the negative active material has an average particle size of from 7 μm to 15 μm, preferably from 9 μm to 12 μm.

6 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the positive electrode film has a compacted density PD satisfying 3.3 g/cm 3 ≤PD positive ≤3.6 g/cm 3 , preferably 3.4 g/cm 3 ≤PD positive ≤3.5 g/cm 3 ; and/or

the negative electrode film has a compacted density PD satisfying 1.6 g/cm 3 ≤PD negative ≤1.75 g/cm 3 , preferably 1.65 g/cm 3 ≤PD negative ≤1.7 g/cm 3 .

7 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the positive electrode film has a porosity P satisfying: 6%≤P positive ≤15%; and/or the negative electrode film has a porosity P satisfying: 15%≤P negative ≤25%.

8 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the single crystal particles is present in the positive active material in a mass percentage of 30% or less, preferably from 10% to 20%.

9 . The secondary battery of claim 1 , wherein the graphite material is one or more selected from artificial graphite and natural graphite.

10 . The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the silicon-based material is present in the negative active material in mass percentage of 40% or less; preferably, the silicon-based material is present in the negative active material in a mass percentage in the range of 15% to 30%.

The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the positive active material comprises one or more of materials having the general formula Li a Ni b Co c M d M′ e O f A g or materials having the general formula Li a Ni b Co c M d M′ e O f A g with a coating on at least a part of the surface in which 0.8≤a≤1,2, 0.5≤b≤1, 0<c<1, 0<d<1, 0≤e≤0.1, 1≤f≤2, 0≤g≤1, M is one or more selected from Mn and Al, M′ is one or more selected from Zr, Al, Zn, Cu, Cr, Mg, Fe, V, Ti and B, and A is one or more selected from N, F, S, and Cl.

The secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the positive active material further comprises one or more of lithium nickel oxide, lithium manganese oxide, lithium iron phosphate, lithium manganese phosphate, lithium iron manganese phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide and a modified compound thereof.

13 . An apparatus characterized by comprising the secondary battery according to claim 1 .
