Abstract

The disclosure relates to a display device which includes a substrate having a bent portion and a main portion, a plurality of pixels disposed on the main portion, an electrical circuit disposed on the bent portion, and a conductive layer disposed on the substrate. At least a portion of the electrical circuit overlaps the plurality of pixels along a direction perpendicular to the main portion. The conductive layer is electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of pixels and the electrical circuit, and the conductive layer has at least one opening.

Claims (25)

1. A display device, comprising:

a substrate, having a bent portion and a main portion;

a plurality of pixels, disposed on the main portion;

an electrical circuit, disposed on the bent portion, wherein at least a portion of the electrical circuit overlaps the plurality of pixels along a direction perpendicular to the main portion;

a conductive layer, disposed on the substrate, wherein the conductive layer is electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of pixels and the electrical circuit, and the conductive layer has at least one opening;

a first insulating layer, disposed on the conductive layer;

a second insulating layer, disposed between the substrate and the first insulating layer;

a first trace, disposed on the bent portion and located between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer; and

a second trace, disposed on the bent portion and located between the second insulating layer and the substrate,

wherein the conductive layer is electrically connected to the first trace and the second trace.

2. The display device as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the at least one opening of the conductive layer has a profile, at least a section of the profile is curved.

3. The display device as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the profile of the at least one opening of the conductive layer in a top view is of a polygonal shape, and two adjacent lines of the polygonal shape are connected with an arc.

4. The display device as claimed in claim 1 ,

wherein the first insulating layer contacts a portion of the second insulating layer via the at least one opening.

5. The display device as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:

a supporting member, wherein the supporting member is disposed between the main portion and the bent portion along the direction, and the supporting member has a first alignment mark.

6. The display device as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the bent portion of the substrate has a second alignment mark, and the second alignment mark is corresponding to the first alignment mark.

7. The display device as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:

a supporting member, disposed between the main portion and the bent portion along the direction; and

a first adhesive and a second adhesive, wherein the first adhesive is disposed between the supporting member and the main portion, and the second adhesive is disposed between the supporting member and the bent portion.

8. The display device as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising:

a third insulating layer disposed on the substrate, wherein the third insulating layer corresponding to the main portion has a first thickness, the third insulating layer corresponding to the bent portion has a second thickness, and the first thickness is greater than the second thickness.

9. The display device as claimed in claim 1 ,

wherein in a cross-sectional view, a taper angle is between the conductive layer and the first insulating layer.

10. The display device as claimed in claim 9 , wherein the taper angle is in a range from 20 degrees to 80 degrees.
