Abstract

Described herein is a network apparatus with secure element and related systems, methods, and apparatuses. A described method includes receiving a request to perform a transaction. The method also includes obtaining confirmation that a network address associated with the request corresponds to a registered physical address. The method further includes obtaining account data and conducting a transaction using the account data.

Claims (12)

1. A method of performing a transaction with a transaction server and a network appliance, comprising:

receiving, by the transaction server, a request to perform a transaction, wherein the request is sent from the network appliance associated with a network address, and wherein the request comprises a payment token provisioned by a resource provider server to the network appliance and stored in a secure element comprising a hardware security module of the network appliance, wherein the resource provider server provisioned the payment token in response to determining a registered physical address associated with a mailing address and the network address matches a known billing address associated with account data and added the network address to a list of authorized network addresses, wherein provisioning the payment token enabled the network appliance to use the payment token to conduct transactions from the registered physical address associated with the network address;

communicating, by the transaction server, a request to confirm that the network address is on the list of authorized network addresses;

receiving, by the transaction server, a confirmation that the network address is on the list of authorized network addresses;

obtaining, by the transaction server, the account data based on the payment token; and

conducting, by the transaction server, a transaction using at least a part of the account data, wherein the account data includes the registered physical address.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein communicating the request to confirm that the network address is on the list of authorized network addresses comprises communicating, by the transaction server, the request to confirm that the network address is on the list of authorized network addresses to the resource provider server.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the confirmation that the network address is on the list of authorized network addresses is received from the resource provider server.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the account data is obtained from the resource provider server after receiving the confirmation that the network address is on the list of authorized network addresses.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

a. obtaining, by the transaction server, the registered physical address; and

b. prepopulating, by the transaction server, a shipping address data field using the registered physical address.
