Abstract

An electronic apparatus and radio communication method in a radio communication system. The electronic apparatus includes: one or more processing circuits configured to execute the following operations: determining, based on an antenna array corresponding to the electronic apparatus, corresponding a transceiver unit (TXRU) configuration, wherein each TXRU is associated with one set of antenna units having a same polarization direction, the antenna array includes plural antenna units having M rows, N columns and P-dimensional polarization directions, and M, N and P are natural numbers; and adding antenna configuration information to a radio resource control (RRC) signaling to be use in a user equipment (UE) in the radio communication system, wherein the antenna configuration information is used to obtain a number of the TXRU in the antenna configuration.

Claims (26)

1. An electronic device in a wireless communication system, comprising circuitry configured to:

receive, from a Base Station, an RRC signaling comprising antenna configuration information, wherein the antenna configuration information comprises a codebook subset restriction that indicates a number of ports of the Base Station;

determine a PMI based on the antenna configuration information;

transmit, to the Base Station, feedback information comprising the PMI,

wherein the antenna configuration information is applicable to an antenna array of the Base Station,

wherein the antenna array of the Base Station comprises a plurality of antenna units, and

wherein the antenna configuration information comprises a number of TXRU of the plurality of antenna units.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the plurality of antenna units are arranged in M rows and N columns, where M and N are natural numbers.

3. The electronic device according to claim 2 , wherein the plurality of antenna units have a P-dimension polarization direction.

4. The electronic device according to claim 3 , wherein the parameters M, N and P are obtained from the codebook subset restriction.

5. The electronic device according to claim 3 , wherein the parameters M, N and P are provided in the antenna configuration information.

6. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to determine the PMI based on the number of TXRU of the plurality of antenna units.

7. The electronic device according to claim 1 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to determine the PMI based on the codebook subset restriction.

8. A method of communication in a wireless communication system, comprising:

receiving, from a Base Station, an RRC signaling comprising antenna configuration information, wherein the antenna configuration information comprises a codebook subset restriction that indicates a number of ports of the Base Station;

determining a PMI based on the antenna configuration information;

transmitting, to the Base Station, feedback information comprising the PMI,

wherein the antenna configuration information is applicable to an antenna array of the Base Station,

wherein the antenna array of the Base Station comprises a plurality of antenna units, and

wherein the antenna configuration information comprises a number of TXRU of the plurality of antenna units.

9. The method of claim 8 , wherein the plurality of antenna units are arranged in M rows and N columns, where M and N are natural numbers.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the plurality of antenna units have a P-dimension polarization direction.

11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the parameters M, N and P are obtained from the codebook subset restriction.

12. The method of claim 10 , wherein the parameters M, N and P are provided in the antenna configuration information.

13. The method of claim 8 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to determine the PMI based on the number of TXRU of the plurality of antenna units.

14. The method of claim 8 , further comprising determining the PMI based on the codebook subset restriction.
