Abstract

A computer-implemented method for providing an input suggestion for a user is disclosed. The computer-implemented method may include identifying an intended recipient of an electronic message input by the user; identifying a location associated with the user and a time associated with the electronic message input by the user; determining the input suggestion for the user based on an input profile of the intended recipient, the location, and the time; and outputting the input suggestion via a user device associated with the user.

Claims (55)

1. A computer-implemented method for facilitating input, comprising:

receiving communications from a plurality of users;

generating a user input profile for a user of the plurality of users based on the communications, wherein the user input profile reflects vocabulary comprehensible by the user;

identifying the user as an intended recipient of a particular one of the communications; and

sending the user input profile to a user device associated with the user to enable the user device to provide one or more input suggestions for the particular communication, wherein the one or more input suggestions are based on the user input profile.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the communications from the plurality of users comprises an electronic message, an email, a shared file, an audio content, or a video content.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating a wordbook comprising words used by the plurality of users in the communications.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

analyzing first communications between the user and an intended recipient;

analyzing second communications between the user and parties not involved in a current communication; and

generating the user input profile based on the first communications and the second communications.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

analyzing the communications to determine a relationship between the plurality of users based on a content of the communications from the plurality of users, wherein the user input profile reflects the determined relationship.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising: periodically updating the user input profile on the user device associated with the user.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

distributing the user input profile to the user device associated with the user dynamically when the user composes an electronic message.

8. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

distributing the user input profile to the user device associated with the user based on a request received from the user device associated with the user.

9. A system for facilitating input, comprising:

a memory storing a set of instructions; and

at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:

receive communications from a plurality of users;

generate a user input profile for a user of the plurality of users based on the communications, wherein the user input profile reflects a preferred language choice of the user;

identify the user as an intended recipient of a particular one of the communications; and

send the user input profile to a user device associated with the user to enable the user device to provide one or more input suggestions for the particular communication, wherein the one or more input suggestions are based on the user input profile.

10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the communications from the plurality of users comprises an electronic message, an email, a shared file, an audio content, or a video content.

11. The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

generate a wordbook comprising words used by the plurality of users in the communications.

12. The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

analyze first communications between the user and an intended recipient;

analyze second communications between the user and parties not involved in a current communication; and

generate the user input profile based on the first and second communications.

13. The system of claim 9 , wherein the preferred language choice of the user includes formal language or informal language.

14. The system of claim 9 , further wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

periodically update the user input profile on the user device associated with the user.

15. The system of claim 9 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

distribute the user input profile to the user device associated with the user dynamically when the user composes an electronic message or distributing the user input profile to the user device associated with the user based on a request received from the user device associated with the user.

16. A web-based server for facilitating input, comprising:

a memory storing a set of instructions; and

at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:

receive communications from a plurality of users;

generate a user input profile for a user of the plurality of users based on the communications, wherein the user input profile reflects vocabulary comprehensible by the user or a preferred language choice of the user;

identify the user as an intended recipient of a particular one of the communications; and

send the user input profile to a user device associated with the user to enable the user device to provide one or more input suggestions for the particular communication, wherein the one or more input suggestions are based on the user input profile.

17. The web-based server of claim 16 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

analyze first communications between the user and an intended recipient;

analyze second communications between the user and parties not involved in a current communication; and

generate the user input profile based on the first and second communications.

18. The web-based server of claim 16 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

analyze the communications to determine a relationship between the plurality of users based on a content of the communications from the plurality of users, wherein the user input profile reflects the determined relationship.

19. The web-based server of claim 16 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

periodically update the user input profile on the user device associated with the user.

20. The web-based server of claim 16 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to execute the instructions to:

distribute the user input profile to the user device associated with the user dynamically when the user composes an electronic message or distributing the user input profile to the user device associated with the user based on a request received from the user device associated with the user.
