Communication system, method for controlling communication system, and program
In a communication system including a server and a plurality of communication terminals capable of communication with the server, based on a variety of parameters indicating the status of a space formed within a game playable by the user of each communication terminal over the communication system, the server transmits advisory information, which suggests the next action for the space, to the communication terminal. The communication terminal displays a screen including the received advisory information.
1. A server comprising:
a communication unit configured to communicate with a plurality of communication terminals for a plurality of users;
a memory configured to store space information, related to a virtual space in a game, respectively for each user of the plurality of users; and
a controller configured to
generate scoring information based on the space information, wherein the scoring information includes a score of at least one indicator,
determine an action, for a first user playing the game, that is necessary to raise the score of the at least one indicator for a first virtual space of the first user,
generate advisory information including the action,
transmit the generated scoring information and the generated advisory information to a first communication terminal of the first user for display, and
cause the first communication terminal to display the generated scoring information and the generated advisory information, wherein
the score of the at least one indicator includes a plurality of scores of a plurality of indicators, the controller is further configured to evaluate each of the plurality of indicators against a predetermined condition and determine an indicator satisfying the predetermined condition among the plurality of indicators, and the determined action is necessary to raise the score of the indicator satisfying the predetermined condition among the plurality of indicators.
2. The server according to claim 1 , wherein
the space information includes at least one of (i) a number and/or type of facilities installed in the virtual space and (ii) a number and/or type of actions already taken by each user.
3. The server according to claim 1 , wherein
the predetermined condition is having a lowest score among the plurality of scores, and
the determined action is necessary to raise the score of the indicator having the lowest score among the plurality of scores of the plurality of indicators.
4. The server according to claim 3 , wherein
the determined action is arranging a facility in the first virtual space.
5. The server according to claim 1 , wherein
the controller is further configured to generate ranking information ranking the plurality of users based on the scoring information.
6. The server according to claim 5 , wherein
the controller is further configured to cause a ranking screen including the generated ranking information to be displayed on the first communication terminal, wherein the ranking screen is one of
a first ranking screen displaying a ranking of top scoring users among the plurality of users, and
a second ranking screen displaying a ranking of the first user among friend users that are friends of the first user among the plurality of users, and
the ranking screen includes a first input interface by which the first user switches between the first and second ranking screens.
7. The server according to claim 6 , wherein
the ranking screen includes a second input interface corresponding to a second virtual space of a second user, and
operation of the second input interface by the first user causes display on the first communication terminal to switch from the ranking screen to a corresponding user screen displaying the second virtual space of the second user.
8. A method comprising:
storing space information, related to a virtual space in a game, respectively for each of a plurality of users;
generating scoring information based on the space information, wherein the scoring information includes a score of at least one indicator;
determining an action, for a first user playing the game, that is necessary to raise the score of the at least one indicator for a first virtual space of the first user;
generating advisory information including the action; and
causing the generated scoring information and the generated advisory information to be displayed, wherein
the score of the at least one indicator includes a plurality of scores of a plurality of indicators, the method further comprises evaluating each of the plurality of indicators against a predetermined condition and determining an indicator satisfying the predetermined condition among the plurality of indicators, and the determined action is necessary to raise the score of the indicator satisfying the predetermined condition among the plurality of indicators.
9. The method according to claim 8 , wherein
the space information includes at least one of (i) a number and/or type of facilities installed in the virtual space and (ii) a number and/or type of actions already taken by each user.
10. The method according to claim 8 , wherein
the predetermined condition is having a lowest score among the plurality of scores, and
the determined action is necessary to raise the score of the indicator having the lowest score among the plurality of scores of the plurality of indicators.
11. The method according to claim 10 , wherein
the determined action is arranging a facility in the first virtual space.
12. The method according to claim 8 , further comprising
generating ranking information ranking the plurality of users based on the scoring information.
13. The method according to claim 12 , further comprising
causing a ranking screen including the generated ranking information to be displayed, wherein the ranking screen is one of
a first ranking screen displaying a ranking of top scoring users among the plurality of users, and
a second ranking screen displaying a ranking of the first user among friend users that are friends of the first user among the plurality of users, and
the ranking screen includes a first input interface by which the first user switches between the first and second ranking screens.
14. The method according to claim 13 , wherein
the ranking screen includes a second input interface corresponding to a second virtual space of a second user, and
operation of the second input interface by the first user causes display to switch from the ranking screen to a corresponding user screen displaying the second virtual space of the second user.
15. A method comprising:
storing town information, related to a virtual town in a game, respectively for each of a plurality of users;
generating scoring information based on the town information, wherein the scoring information includes a score of at least one indicator;
determining an action, for a first user playing the game, that is necessary to raise the score of the at least one indicator for a first virtual town of the first user;
generating advisory information including the action; and
causing the generated scoring information and the generated advisory information to be displayed, wherein
the score of the at least one indicator includes a plurality of scores of a plurality of indicators, the method further comprises evaluating each of the plurality of indicators against a predetermined condition and determining an indicator satisfying the predetermined condition among the plurality of indicators, and the determined action is necessary to raise the score of the indicator satisfying the predetermined condition among the plurality of indicators.
