Fluorine compounds
The present invention relates to novel compounds containing fluorinated end groups and to the use thereof in, for example, dirt-repellent coatings.
1. A compound of formulae Ib, Id, Ie, Ig or Ih:
where
Rf=a perfluorinated alkyl group, optionally containing heteroatoms,
R 1 ═H or C 1 -C 4 -alkyl,
R″═C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, and R″″═H or an alkyl group.

The compound according to claim 1 , wherein Rf is selected from CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-3 —, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-3 —O—, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-3 —O—CF 2 —, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—(CF 2 —O—) 1-8 — and CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 0-3 —O—(CF 2 —O) 1-8 —CF 2 —.
3. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R f is selected from CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 1-2 —, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 1-2 —O—, CF 3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-3 —, CF 3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-2 —O—, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 1-2 —O—CF 2 —, CF 3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-2 —O—CF 2 —, CF 3 —O—(CF 2 —O—) 1-8 — and CF 3 —O—(CF 2 —O—) 1-8 —CF 2 —.
4. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein R″ is C 1 - or C 2 -alkyl.
5. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein the compound is of formula (Ib)
6. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein Rf is CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 1-2 —, CF 3 —(CF 2 ) 1-2 —O—, CF 3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-3 — or CF 3 —O—(CF 2 ) 1-2 —O—.
7. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein the compound is of formula (Id)

9. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein the compound is of formula (Ig)
10. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein the compound is of formula (Ih)
11. The compound according to claim 1 , wherein the compound is selected from the following compounds:
12. A method of providing a dirt-repellent surface to a substrate comprising applying to said substrate at least one compound according to claim 1 .
13. A composition comprising at least one compound according to claim 1 and a support which is suitable for the respective application and optionally further additives.
14. A coated article having a coating produced using at least one compound according to claim 1 .
