Abstract

A system or method of prioritizing participants in a virtual meeting via a network by scoring each participant on several criteria and weighting the criteria to determine a readiness score. The system of accesses, for each of a plurality of participants, network data, video data, audio data, processing data, and participation data. The system determines, for each of the plurality of participants, a signal strength score based on the corresponding network data, a background score based on the corresponding video data and audio data, a microphone proximity score based on the corresponding video data, a processing score for each of the plurality of participants based on the corresponding processing data, and an engagement score based on the corresponding video data and participation data. The system calculates the readiness score, for each participant, based at least on the corresponding signal strength score, background score, engagement score, and processing score, ranks the participants, and provides the ranked participants.

Claims (38)

1. A method of prioritizing participants in a virtual meeting via a network, the method comprising:

accessing, for a first participant, a first distance between a first capture device and a first mobile device;

determining a first readiness score based at least in part on the first distance;

accessing, for a second participant, a second distance between a second capture device and a second mobile device;

determining a second readiness score based at least in part on the second distance;

ranking the first participant and the second participant based the first readiness score and the second readiness score, respectively; and

providing the first participant and the second participant in order of rank.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first distance or the second distance is determined based at least one of the following: image analysis, Bluetooth connection, wireless connection, and GPS position.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first distance is determined by:

accessing a capture position of the first capture device and a mobile position of the first mobile device; and

determining a distance between the capture position and mobile position.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the capture position or the mobile position is determined based at least one of the following: image analysis, Bluetooth connection, wireless connection, and GPS position.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the first participant and the second participant in order of rank further comprises providing a user interface displaying participants.

6. The method of claim 1 further comprising providing an indication of one of providing the first participant and the second participant as a next presenter.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first readiness score is further based on at least one of the following: signal strength, background activity, background noise, processing data, and participation data.

8. The method of claim 7 , wherein signal strength is at least partially based on analyzing network data to determine at least one of bandwidth or Quality of Service.

9. The method of claim 7 , wherein background activity or background audio is at least partially based on image analysis or audio analysis of a participant background or participant audio data.

10. The method of claim 7 , wherein participation data is at least partially based on participant interaction data or audio data.

11. A system for prioritizing participants in a virtual meeting via a network, the method comprising:

first input/output circuitry configured to:

access, for a first participant, a first distance between a first capture device and a first mobile device;

access, for a second participant, a second distance between a second capture device and a second mobile device;

processing circuitry configured to:

determine a first readiness score based at least in part on the first distance;

determine a second readiness score based at least in part on the second distance;

rank the first participant and the second participant based the first readiness score and the second readiness score, respectively; and

provide the first participant and the second participant in order of rank.

12. The system of claim 11 , wherein the first distance or the second distance is determined based at least one of the following: image analysis, Bluetooth connection, wireless connection, and GPS position.

13. The system of claim 11 , wherein the first distance is determined by second processing circuitry configured to:

access a capture position of the first capture device and a mobile position of the first mobile device; and

determine a distance between the capture position and mobile position.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the capture position or the mobile position is determined based at least one of the following: image analysis, Bluetooth connection, wireless connection, and GPS position.

15. The system of claim 11 , wherein the processing circuitry is configured to provide the first participant and the second participant in order of rank by providing a user interface displaying participants.

16. The system of claim 11 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to provide an indication of one of providing the first participant and the second participant as a next presenter.

17. The system of claim 11 , wherein the first readiness score is further based on at least one of the following: signal strength, background activity, background noise, processing data, and participation data.

18. The system of claim 17 , wherein signal strength is at least partially based on analyzing network data to determine at least one of bandwidth or Quality of Service.

19. The system of claim 17 , wherein background activity or background audio is at least partially based on image analysis or audio analysis of a participant background or participant audio data.

20. The system of claim 17 , wherein participation data is at least partially based on participant interaction data or audio data.
