Abstract

A toilet that includes a tank configured to hold water from a water supply; a reservoir fluidly connected to the tank and configured to hold a cleaning compound comprising a chemical compound and water from the water supply; and an actuator configured to control a flush cycle of the toilet upon a first activation, the actuator including at least one nozzle fluidly connected to the reservoir and configured to discharge an amount of the cleaning compound external to the tank upon at least one of the first activation or a second activation.

Claims (41)

1. A delivery system for use with a tank, the delivery system comprising:

a container including a cleaning compound comprising at least one chemical and water;

a water passage configured to connect the container and the tank for delivery of at least a portion of the water from the tank to the container;

a dispenser configured to dispense the cleaning compound from the container; and

an actuator configured to activate the dispenser to apply the cleaning compound to a paper product to provide a sanitizing wet wipe.

2. The delivery system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a chamber for housing the paper product as the paper product is withdrawn from the delivery system.

3. The delivery system of claim 2 , wherein the dispenser is configured to dispense the cleaning compound onto the paper product in the chamber.

4. The delivery system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a cleaning compound conduit configured to connect the dispenser to the cleaning compound in the container.

5. The delivery system of claim 1 , wherein the at least one chemical is selected from didecyldimethyl ammonium chloride, sodium hypochlorite, triclosan, peracedic acid, formic acid, trisodium phosphate, biocide, hydrogen chloride, dihydrogen phosphate, ethylenediaminetetraacidic acid, sodium hexametaphosphate, and tetrapotassium pyrophosphate.

6. The delivery system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a chemical generator in communication with the container and configured to generate the at least one chemical.

7. The delivery system of claim 6 , wherein the at least one chemical includes hydrogen peroxide.

8. The delivery system of claim 6 , further comprising:

a power source configured to provide electrical power to the chemical generator.

9. The delivery system of claim 8 , wherein the power source is configured to provide electrical power to the actuator.

10. The delivery system of claim 1 , wherein the actuator is manually actuated.

11. The delivery system of claim 1 , further comprising:

a sensor configured to detect an object, wherein the actuator triggers the dispenser in response to the object.

12. A toilet including a cleaning compound delivery system, the toilet comprising:

a tank;

a container supported by the tank and including a cleaning compound comprising at least one chemical and water;

a water passage configured to connect the container and the tank for delivery of at least a portion of the water from the tank to the container; and

a dispenser configured to dispense the cleaning compound from the container, wherein the cleaning compound dispensed from the container is applied to a paper product to provide a sanitizing wet wipe.

13. The toilet of claim 12 , further comprising:

a cleaning compound conduit configured to connect the dispenser to the cleaning compound in the container.

14. The toilet of claim 12 , wherein the at least one chemical is selected from didecyldimethyl ammonium chloride, sodium hypochlorite, triclosan, peracedic acid, formic acid, trisodium phosphate, biocide, hydrogen chloride, dihydrogen phosphate, ethylenediaminetetraacidic acid, sodium hexametaphosphate, and tetrapotassium pyrophosphate.

15. The toilet of claim 12 , further comprising:

a chemical generator in communication with the container and configured to generate the at least one chemical.

16. The toilet of claim 15 , wherein the at least one chemical includes hydrogen peroxide.

17. The toilet of claim 12 , further comprising:

a sensor configured to detect an object, wherein the actuator triggers the dispenser in response to the object.

18. A method for providing a sanitizing wet wipe, the method comprising:

mixing, in a container, a cleaning compound comprising at least one chemical and water received from a toilet tank or a humidifier tank via a water passage;

receiving an actuation for release of the cleaning compound; and

dispensing, in response to the actuation, the cleaning compound to a paper product to provide a sanitizing wet wipe.

19. The method of claim 18 , further comprising:

withdrawing the paper product through a chamber, wherein the cleaning compound is dispensed onto the paper product within the chamber.

20. The method of claim 18 , further comprising:

generating the cleaning compound.
