Abstract

A computerized network links individual lay users, referred to as “standard users,” with qualified professionals in one or more disciplines, such as law, medicine, engineering, accounting and architecture, who are referred to as “participating professionals.” Business entities, such as corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, can also participate as “enterprise users,” with linkage through the network to both standard users and participating professionals. The network enables standard users, participating professionals and enterprise users to communicate, share information, conduct studies, and negotiate and/or create documents relating to the professional disciplines.

a first application for use by a plurality of standard users, wherein the first application is at least one downloadable native user application configured to be executed by at least one standard user device operated by at least one of the plurality of standard users;

a second application for use by a plurality of professional users, wherein the second application is at least one downloadable professional user application configured to be executed by at least one standard professional user device operated by at least one of the plurality of professional users; and

a third application for use by a plurality of enterprise users, wherein the online web platform facilitates a linkage between the third application and the second application;

manage network interactions among the first application, the second application, and the third application, including network interactions between at least one of the plurality of standard users using the first application and at least one of the plurality of professional users using the second application who have established a confidential relationship via the online web platform in connection with professional services;

create a private communication linkage between the first application utilized by the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the second application utilized by the at least one of the plurality of professional users that have established the confidential relationship via the online web platform to facilitate protection of confidential documents and information exchanged between the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the at least one of the plurality of professional users; and

wherein the instructions stored on the memory are configured to execute a blockchain process that records and preserves the network interactions among the first application, the second application, and the third application in an immutable network audit trail, including the network interactions between the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the at least one of the plurality of professional users having the established confidential relationship;

at least one system database configured to store at least a portion of the immutable network audit trail derived from the network interactions between the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the at least one of the plurality of professional users; and

at least one system server configured to record and preserve the network interactions between the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the at least one of the plurality of professional users in the immutable network audit trail using the blockchain process.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

the blockchain process records and preserves interactions relating to soliciting proposals for professional legal services and acceptance of offers for the professional services;

the blockchain process records and preserves communications between the plurality of professional users and the plurality of standard users;

the blockchain process records and preserves shared documents or files associated with obtaining the professional legal services;

the blockchain process records and preserves information relating to referrals;

the blockchain process records and preserves information associated with obtaining informed consent; and

the blockchain process records and preserves conflicts-of-interest information.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

the at least one downloadable native user application or at least one web application is configured to provide one or more interfaces that permit the plurality of standard users to solicit proposals from the plurality of professional users and to accept offers from the plurality of professional users; and

the at least one downloadable native professional application is configured to provide one or more interfaces that permit the plurality of professional users to offer the professional services; and

the blockchain process records and preserves interactions relating to soliciting the proposals, accepting the offers, and offering the professional services.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein:

the at least one downloadable native user application or the at least one web application is configured to provide one or more interfaces that permit evaluation criteria to be specified for evaluating any proposals received from the plurality of professional users; and

the proposals received from the plurality of professional users are ranked, at least in part, using the evaluation criteria.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

a system software permits the plurality of professional users and the plurality of standard users to communicate with each other in connection with the professional services; and

the blockchain process records and preserves communications between the plurality of professional users and the plurality of standard users.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

a system software permits the plurality of standard users to share documents or files with the plurality of professional users; and

the blockchain process records and preserves any shared documents or files.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

a system software is configured to obtain informed consent information from the plurality of standard users; and

the blockchain process records and preserves information associated with obtaining the informed consent information.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

a system software is configured to provide one or more interfaces that facilitate referrals for the professional services; and

the blockchain process records and preserves information relating to the referrals.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein:

the blockchain process records, preserves, and audits compliance with requirements pertaining to professional standards, confidentiality, conflicts-of-interest and informed consent.

10. A computerized method for tracking and recording network interactions among multiple system users, the method comprising:

Providing access to an online web platform that is configured to manage interactions among a plurality of applications over a network in connection with providing professional services including:

a first application for use by a plurality of standard users, wherein the first application is at least one downloadable native user application configured to be executed by at least one standard user device operated by at least one of the plurality of standard users;

a second application for use by a plurality of professional users, wherein the second application is at least one downloadable professional user application configured to be executed by at least one standard professional user device operated by at least one of the plurality of professional users; and

a third application for use by a plurality of enterprise users, wherein the online web platform facilitates a linkage between the third application and the second application;

managing network interactions among the first application, the second application, and the third application, including network interactions between at least one of the plurality of standard users using the first application and at least one of the plurality of professional users using the second application who have established a confidential relationship via the online web platform in connection with professional services;

creating a private communication linkage between the first application utilized by the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the second application utilized by the at least one of the plurality of professional users that have established the confidential relationship via the online web platform to facilitate protection of confidential information exchanged between the at least one of the plurality of standard users and the at least one of the plurality of professional users; and
