Abstract

A wireless device receives one or more radio resource control messages comprising configuration parameters of a configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with a cell. The wireless device transmits one or more transport blocks based on the configured uplink grant Type 1. The wireless device transitions the cell to a dormancy in response to receiving a downlink control information (DCI). The wireless device suspends the configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with the cell in response to the transitioning the cell to the dormancy.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transitioning the cell to the dormancy comprises transitioning the cell to the dormancy while keeping the cell activated.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the channel state information report is for an active downlink bandwidth part of the cell.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising maintaining the configuration parameters of the configured uplink grant Type 1 in response to the transitioning the cell to the dormancy.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising stopping, in response to the suspending, transmitting of transport blocks via radio resources of the configured uplink grant Type 1 of the cell.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the first DCI comprises a group common DCI addressed to a group of wireless devices comprising the wireless device, wherein the group common DCI is associated with a group common radio network temporary identifier comprising a power saving radio network temporary identifier.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the dormancy of the cell comprises one or more of:

a time period when a cell deactivation timer, associated with the cell, is running; and

a time period when the wireless device stops monitoring one or more downlink control channels on an active downlink bandwidth part of the cell.

8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising initializing the suspended configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with the cell in response to receiving a third DCI indicating transitioning the cell from the dormancy to a non-dormancy.

9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising not switching, in response to the first DCI indicating transitioning the cell to the dormancy, from a first uplink bandwidth part to a second uplink bandwidth part as an active uplink bandwidth part of the cell, wherein the cell comprises at least the first uplink bandwidth part and the second uplink bandwidth part.

10. A wireless device, comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive one or more radio resource control messages comprising configuration parameters, wherein the configuration parameters comprise configuration parameters of a configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with a cell, discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration parameters, and channel state information (CSI) configuration parameters of a periodic CSI type;

transmit one or more transport blocks based on the configured uplink grant Type 1;

transition the cell to a dormancy in response to receiving a first downlink control information (DCI);

suspend the configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with the cell in response to transitioning the cell to the dormancy;

stop transmitting, during the dormancy, one or more uplink channels on an active uplink bandwidth part of the cell;

transmit, during the dormancy, a CSI report for the cell;

receive, during a DRX active time, a second DCI that indicates transmission of an aperiodic CSI, wherein the DRX active time is based on the DRX configuration parameters;

report an aperiodic CSI via an uplink control channel at a first time based on the first time not being in the DRX active time; and

not report a periodic CSI via the uplink control channel at a second time based on the second time not being in the DRX active time, wherein the second time is based on the CSI configuration parameters.

11. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the first DCI comprises a group common DCI addressed to a group of wireless devices comprising the wireless device, wherein the group common DCI is associated with a group common radio network temporary identifier comprising a power saving radio network temporary identifier.

12. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to initialize the suspended configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with the cell in response to receiving a third DCI indicating transitioning the cell from the dormancy to a non-dormancy.

13. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to not switch, in response to the first DCI indicating transitioning the cell to the dormancy, from a first uplink bandwidth part to a second uplink bandwidth part as an active uplink bandwidth part of the cell, wherein the cell comprises at least the first uplink bandwidth part and the second uplink bandwidth part.

14. A method, comprising:

transmitting, by a base station to a wireless device, one or more radio resource control messages comprising configuration parameters, wherein the configuration parameters comprise configuration parameters of a configured uplink grant Type 1 associated with a cell, discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration parameters, and channel state information (CSI) configuration parameters of a periodic CSI type;
