Abstract

Provided is an operation method for a terminal performing a call. A first terminal may receive a first like signal transmitted from a second terminal to a server, and may transmit, to the server, a second like signal regarding a second user of the second terminal. At this time, the first terminal may receive a signal for establishing a call connection between the first terminal and the second terminal, and may perform a call with the second terminal based on the signal.

Claims (75)

1. An operation method of a first terminal, the operation method comprising:

receiving a first like signal, regarding a first user of the first terminal, transmitted from a second terminal to a server;

transmitting a second like signal regarding a second user of the second terminal to the server;

receiving a signal for establishing a call connection between the first terminal and the second terminal from the server;

performing a preliminary call with the second terminal based on the signal, wherein, while the preliminary call is in progress, an image of the second user of the second terminal is shown on a display of the first terminal; and

after the preliminary call is terminated:

outputting a message window on the first terminal, wherein the message window requests a primary response to the preliminary call;

transmitting the primary response to the server; and

determining whether to proceed with performing a main call, wherein the main call is based at least in part on:

the primary response to the preliminary call; and

a secondary response transmitted from the second terminal to the server.

2. The operation method of claim 1 , wherein:

the second like signal is transmitted after the first like signal is received; and

the signal is for automatically making the preliminary call from the first terminal to the second terminal.

3. The operation method of claim 2 , wherein:

the performing of the preliminary call is based on a preliminary response transmitted from the second terminal to the server, and

the preliminary response corresponds to acceptance or rejection of the preliminary call automatically transmitted from the first terminal.

4. The operation method of claim 1 , wherein the preliminary call corresponds to a voice call and the main call corresponds to a video call.

5. The operation method of claim 1 , wherein:

the first like signal is based on profile information about the first user of the first terminal; and

the second like signal is based on profile information about the second user of the second terminal.

6. A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium having recorded thereon a program for executing, on a computer, the operation method of claim 1 .

7. A first terminal comprising:

a communication unit configured to:

receive a first like signal transmitted from a second terminal to a server;

transmit a second like signal regarding a second user of the second terminal to the server; and

receive a signal for establishing a call connection between the first terminal and the second terminal; and

a control unit configured to:

perform a preliminary call with the second terminal based on the signal, wherein, during the preliminary call, a camera of the first terminal is activated in order to capture video of the second user of the second terminal; and

after the preliminary call is terminated:

output a message window on the first terminal, wherein the message window requests a primary response to the preliminary call;

transmit the primary response to the server; and

determine whether to proceed with performing a main call, wherein the main call is based at least in part on:

the primary response to the preliminary call; and

a secondary response transmitted from the second terminal to the server.

8. The first terminal of claim 7 , wherein:

the second like signal is transmitted after the first like signal is received; and

the signal is for automatically making a call from the first terminal to the second terminal.

9. The first terminal of claim 8 , wherein:

the control unit is configured to perform the preliminary call based on a preliminary response transmitted from the second terminal to the server; and

the preliminary response corresponds to acceptance or rejection of the preliminary call automatically transmitted from the first terminal.

10. The first terminal of claim 7 , wherein the preliminary call corresponds to a voice call and the main call corresponds to a video call.

11. The first terminal of claim 7 , wherein:

the first like signal is based on profile information about the first user of the first terminal; and

the second like signal is based on profile information about the second user of the second terminal.

12. An operation method of a server, the operation method comprising:

receiving, from a second terminal, a first like signal regarding a first user of a first terminal;

receiving, from the first terminal, a second like signal regarding a second user of the second terminal;

transmitting a signal for establishing a call connection between the first terminal and the second terminal to at least one of the first terminal and the second terminal;

relaying a preliminary call between the first terminal and the second terminal based on the signal;

receiving, during the preliminary call, an image of the second user of the second terminal; and

receiving, after the preliminary call is terminated:

a primary response to the preliminary call from the first terminal; and

a secondary response to the preliminary call from the second terminal; and

depending on the primary response and the secondary response, relaying a main call.

13. The operation method of claim 12 , wherein:

the second like signal is transmitted after the first like signal is received; and

the signal is for automatically making a call from the first terminal to the second terminal.

14. The operation method of claim 1 , further comprising:

when at least one of the primary response and the secondary response indicate a rejection of the main call, terminating the call connection; and

when both the primary response and the secondary response indicate acceptance of the main call, performing the main call with the second terminal.

15. The first terminal of claim 7 , wherein the control unit is further configured to:

when at least one of the primary response and the secondary response indicate a rejection of the main call, terminate the call connection; and

when both the primary response and the secondary response indicate acceptance of the main call, perform the main call with the second terminal.

16. The operation method of claim 12 , further comprising:

when at least one of the primary response and the secondary response indicate a rejection of the main call, transmitting a second signal for terminating the call connection to at least one of the first terminal and the second terminal; and

when both the primary response and the secondary response indicate acceptance of the main call, relaying the main call between the first terminal and the second terminal.

17. The operation method of claim 13 , wherein:

the performing of the preliminary call is based on a preliminary response transmitted from the second terminal to the server, and

the preliminary response corresponds to acceptance or rejection of the preliminary call automatically transmitted from the first terminal.

18. The operation method of claim 12 , wherein the preliminary call corresponds to a voice call and the main call corresponds to a video call.

19. The operation method of claim 12 , wherein:

the first like signal is based on profile information about the first user of the first terminal; and

the second like signal is based on profile information about the second user of the second terminal.

20. The operation method of claim 1 , wherein the preliminary call is terminated when a preset duration lapses.
