Abstract

The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods that provide a network environment that enables reassignment platforms to provide authentic access rights for reassignment to user devices. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods in which a reassignment platform can execute a protocol implemented using code (e.g., an Application Programming Interface (API)) to validate the authenticity of access rights made available for reassignment, and once reassigned, reissue the access rights to a new user and transmit those access rights to user devices natively in a mobile application.

Claims (58)

1. A system for preventing re-allocation of access right, comprising:

one or more processors; and;

a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium containing instructions which, when executed on the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations including:

allocating an access right to a first user device by an assignment system or by a first reassignment system, wherein the access right enables access to a resource during a defined time period;

allocating a token identifier with the access right to the first user device by the assignment system or by the first reassignment system;

verifying by the assignment system whether the access right allocated to the first user device is a valid access right by checking that the token identifier matches with the valid access right stored in a database;

receiving, at the assignment system or the first reassignment system, a first communication for the access right to the first user device, wherein:

the access right is already allocated to the first user device,

the first communication indicates that the access right is intended to be re-allocated to a second user device by a second reassignment system,

determining listing of the access right intended to be re-allocated to the second user device by the second reassignment system;

in response to the determining that the access right has been fraudulently listed on the second reassignment system:

transmitting a second communication to the assignment system for enabling the first user device to prevent re-allocation of the access right to the second user device;

transmitting a third communication to the second reassignment system, to de-list the access right from the second reassignment system;

monitoring the listing of the access right for re-allocation on other reassignment systems different from the first reassignment system and the second reassignment system; and

transmitting a fourth communication to the other reassignment systems that the access right has been prevented from re-allocation by the second reassignment system.

The system for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising determining whether the access right is authentic, the determination including querying one or more databases to determine whether the access right corresponds to a plurality of access rights belonging to the assignment system.

The system for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising removing the access right from the second reassignment system and the other reassignment systems, wherein the removal of the access right causing the access right to be temporarily inhibited from being queried by user devices, other than the first user device.

4. The system for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 1 , further comprising prompting the first user device for a token identifier corresponding to the access right identified to be made available on the second reassignment system and the other reassignment systems.

5. The system for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the access right corresponds to an entry protocol that enables a first user corresponding to the first user device to enter a spatial region using a pre-defined technique.

6. The system for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first communication includes notification from the assignment system or the first reassignment system to the first user device.

The system for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 1 , wherein the first reassignment system and the other reassignment systems uses an Application Programming Interface (API) to communicate with the assignment system as part of verifying whether the access right is enabled for reassignment.

8. A computer-implemented method for preventing re-allocation of access rights, comprising:

allocating an access right to a first user device by an assignment system or by a first reassignment system, wherein the access right enables access to a resource during a defined time period;

allocating a token identifier with the access right to the first user device by the assignment system or by the first reassignment system;

verifying by the assignment system whether the access right allocated to the first user device is a valid access right by checking that the token identifier matches with the valid access right stored in a database;

receiving, at the assignment system or the first reassignment system, a first communication for the access right to the first user device, wherein:

the access right is already allocated to the first user device,

the first communication indicates that the access right is intended to be re-allocated to a second user device by a second reassignment system,

determining listing of the access right intended to be re-allocated to the second user device by the second reassignment system;

in response to the determination that the access right has been fraudulently listed on the second reassignment system:

transmitting a second communication to the assignment system for enabling the first user device to prevent re-allocation of the access right to the second user device;

transmitting a third communication to the second reassignment system, to de-list the access right from the second reassignment system;

monitoring the listing of the access right for re-allocation on other reassignment systems different from the first reassignment system and the second reassignment system; and

transmitting a fourth communication to the other reassignment systems that the access right has been prevented from re-allocation by the second reassignment system.

The method for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 8 , further comprising determining whether the access right is authentic, the determination including querying one or more databases to determine whether the access right corresponds to a plurality of access rights belonging to the assignment system.

The method for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 8 , further comprising removing the access right from the second reassignment system and the other reassignment systems, wherein the removal of the access right causing the access right to be temporarily inhibited from being queried by user devices, other than the first user device.

11. The method for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 8 , further comprising prompting the first user device for a token identifier corresponding to the access right identified to be made available on the second reassignment system and the other reassignment systems.

12. The method for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 8 , wherein the access right corresponds to an entry protocol that enables a first user corresponding to the first user device to enter a spatial region using a pre-defined technique.

13. The method for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 8 , wherein the first communication includes notification from the assignment system or the first reassignment system to the first user device.

The method for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 8 , wherein the first reassignment system and the other reassignment systems uses an Application Programming Interface (API) to communicate with the assignment system as part of verifying whether the access right is enabled for reassignment.

15. A computer-program product tangibly embodied in a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium, including instructions configured to cause a processing apparatus to perform operations including:

allocating an access right to a first user device by an assignment system or by a first reassignment system, wherein the access right enables access to a resource during a defined time period;

allocating a token identifier with the access right to the first user device by the assignment system or by the first reassignment system;

verifying by the assignment system whether the access right allocated to the first user device is a valid access right by checking that the token identifier matches with the valid access right stored in a database;

receiving, at the assignment system or the first reassignment system, a first communication for the access right to the first user device, wherein:

the access right is already allocated to the first user device,

the first communication indicates that the access right is intended to be re-allocated to a second user device by a second reassignment system,

determining listing of the access right intended to be re-allocated to the second user device by the second reassignment system;

in response to the determination that the access right has been fraudulently listed on the second reassignment system:

transmitting a second communication to the assignment system for enabling the first user device to prevent re-allocation of the access right to the second user device;

transmitting a third communication to the second reassignment system, to de-list the access right from the second reassignment system;

monitoring the listing of the access right for re-allocation on other reassignment systems different from the first reassignment system and the second reassignment system; and

transmitting a fourth communication to the other reassignment systems that the access right has been prevented from re-allocation by the second reassignment system.

The computer-program product for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 15 , further comprising determining whether the access right is authentic, the determination including querying one or more databases to determine whether the access right corresponds to a plurality of access rights belonging to the assignment system.

The computer-program product for preventing re-allocation of access right, as recited in claim 15 , further comprising removing the access right from the second reassignment system and the other reassignment systems, wherein the removal of the access right causing the access right to be temporarily inhibited from being queried by user devices, other than the first user device.

18. The computer-program product for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 15 , wherein the access right corresponds to an entry protocol that enables a first user corresponding to the first user device to enter a spatial region using a pre-defined technique.

19. The computer-program product for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 15 , wherein the first communication includes notification from the assignment system or the first reassignment system to the first user device.

The computer-program product for preventing re-allocation of access rights, as recited in claim 15 , wherein the first reassignment system and the other reassignment systems uses an Application Programming Interface (API) to communicate with the assignment system as part of verifying whether the access right is enabled for reassignment.
