Abstract

An exercise machine is disclosed. The exercise machine comprises a frame, a first motor, a second motor, a first arm, and a second arm. The frame includes a front side and a back side. A longitudinal axis of the first motor passes through the front side and the back side of the frame. The first motor drives a first cable and the second motor drives a second cable. The first arm positions the first cable and the second arm positions the second cable. The frame is capable of being wall mounted.

Claims (23)

1. An exercise machine comprising:

a frame that includes a front side and a back side;

a first motor and a second motor, wherein a longitudinal axis of the first motor passes through the front side and the back side of the frame, wherein the first motor drives a first cable, wherein the second motor drives a second cable; and

a first arm and a second arm, wherein the first arm positions the first cable, and the second arm positions the second cable, and wherein the frame is configured to be wall mounted, such that the frame is suspended on a wall.

2. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein resistance generated by at least one of the first motor and the second motor is dynamically adjustable.

3. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein resistance generated by the at least one of the first motor and the second motor is based at least in part on a target weight.

4. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first motor is coupled to a first spool, wherein the first cable is wound about the first spool.

5. The exercise machine of claim 4 , wherein the first spool is placed in a lower portion of the exercise machine.

6. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first motor is placed in a lower portion of the exercise machine.

7. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first arm and the second arm are capable of being vertically pivoted.

8. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first arm and the second arm are capable of being horizontally pivoted.

9. The exercise machine of claim 1 , further comprising a wall bracket, wherein the frame at least in part hangs on the wall bracket.

10. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first and second arms are capable of being locked in a fixed vertically pivoted position.

11. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first and second arms are capable of being locked such that the first and second arms are prevented from pivoting horizontally.

12. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first cable is coupled between the first motor and a first actuator.

13. The exercise machine of claim 12 , wherein the first actuator comprises a handle.

14. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first motor is a pancake motor.

15. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first cable is run through the first arm and the second cable is run through the second arm.

16. The exercise machine of claim 1 , further comprising wherein the first motor is located within the frame, wherein the first arm is located at a first side of the frame and the second arm is located at a second side of the frame, wherein the first side and the second side are opposite sides of the frame.

17. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first cable and the second cable are coupled to corresponding opposite ends of a bar.

18. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first cable is capable of being coupled to a strap.

19. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first motor is configured to provide dynamic resistance.

20. The exercise machine of claim 1 , wherein the first motor is configured to provide a nominal tension of resistance at a first cable zero point.
