Abstract

A system and method to manage data associated with a merchant system to provide in response to a search query from an end user system. The system and method to generate, in a data graph associated with a merchant system, a first entity type including a first data field storing a first data value corresponding to the merchant system. A second entity type comprising a second data field storing a second data value corresponding to the merchant system is generated in the data graph. A relationship type between the first entity type and the second entity type is established. A first update to the first data value of the first entity type is generated. In view of the relationship type, a second update to the second data value of the second entity type is generated. The first update of the first entity type and the second update of the second entity type are stored in the data graph.

Claims (56)

1. A method comprising:

generating, in a data graph associated with a merchant system, a first entity type comprising a first data field storing a first data value corresponding to the merchant system;

generating, in the data graph, a second entity type comprising a second data field storing a second data value corresponding to the merchant system;

establishing, by a processing device, based on a selection from the merchant system, a first relationship type of a plurality of relationship types, wherein the first relationship type defines a relationship between the first entity type and the second entity type;

generating a first update to the first data value of the first entity type;

determining based on a first rule associated with the first relationship type that the second entity type is to be updated in view of the first update;

generating, in view of the determining, a second update to the second data value of the second entity type; and

storing, in the data graph, the first update of the first entity type and the second update of the second entity type.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving a query relating to the merchant system; and

searching the first entity type and the second entity type in response to the query.

3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising:

generating a response to the query comprising at least one of the first update to the first data value or the second update to the second data value.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising distributing the first update and the second update to a provider system.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving the first update from the merchant system.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the first update or the second update are provided to an end user system in response to a query from the end user system.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

establishing a plurality of relationships between the first entity type and a plurality of additional entity types; and

in view of the plurality of relationships, updating the plurality of additional entity types in response to the first update to the first data value of the first entity type.

8. A system comprising:

a memory to store instructions; and

a processing device operatively coupled to the memory, the processing device to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:

generating, in a data graph associated with a merchant system, a first entity type comprising a first data field storing a first data value corresponding to the merchant system;

generating, in the data graph, a second entity type comprising a second data field storing a second data value corresponding to the merchant system;

establishing, based on a selection from the merchant system, a first relationship type of a plurality of relationship types, wherein the first relationship type defines a relationship between the first entity type and the second entity type;

generating a first update to the first data value of the first entity type;

determining based on a first rule associated with the first relationship type that the second entity type is to be updated in view of the first update;

generating, in view of the determining, a second update to the second data value of the second entity type; and

storing, in the data graph, the first update of the first entity type and the second update of the second entity type.

9. The system of claim 8 , the operations further comprising:

receiving a query relating to the merchant system; and

searching the first entity type and the second entity type in response to the query.

10. The system of claim 9 , the operations further comprising generating a response to the query comprising at least one of the first update to the first data value or the second update to the second data value.

11. The system of claim 8 , the operations further comprising:

distributing the first update and the second update to a provider system.

12. The system of claim 8 , the operations further comprising:

receiving the first update from the merchant system.

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein one or more of the first update or the second update are provided to an end user system in response to a query from the end user system.

14. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having instructions that, if executed by a processing device, cause the processing device to perform operations comprising:

generating, in a data graph associated with a merchant system, a first entity type comprising a first data field storing a first data value corresponding to the merchant system;

generating, in the data graph, a second entity type comprising a second data field storing a second data value corresponding to the merchant system;

establishing, based on a selection from the merchant system, a first relationship type of a plurality of relationship types, wherein the first relationship type defines a relationship between the first entity type and the second entity type;

generating a first update to the first data value of the first entity type;

determining based on a first rule associated with the first relationship type that the second entity type is to be updated in view of the first update;

generating, in view of the determining, a second update to the second data value of the second entity type; and

storing, in the data graph, the first update of the first entity type and the second update of the second entity type.

15. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , the operations further comprising:

receiving a query relating to the merchant system; and

searching the first entity type and the second entity type in response to the query.

16. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 15 , the operations further comprising generating a response to the query comprising at least one of the first update to the first data value or the second update to the second data value.

17. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , the operations further comprising:

distributing the first update and the second update to a provider system.

18. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , wherein one or more of the first update or the second update are provided to an end user system in response to a query from the end user system.

19. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 14 , the operations further comprising:

establishing a plurality of relationships between the first entity type and a plurality of additional entity types; and

in view of the plurality of relationships, updating the plurality of additional entity types in response to the first update to the first data value of the first entity type.
