Abstract

Various embodiments relate generally to computer software and systems, including a subset of intermediary executable instructions constituting an communication interface between various software and/or hardware platforms, and, more specifically, to an application interface integration design management platform configured to analyze distinctive repositories (e.g., version-control application-based repositories) and identify application interface files and data components to form a consolidated data source with which to perform a unified search (e.g., a global search) to implement different portions of various application interfaces in development of application program interfaces (“APIs”), and the like. For example, a method may include indexing portions of application interfaces disposed in distinctive repositories, extracting the portions of application interfaces for storage in a consolidated data storage to facilitate, among other things, a unified search operation over data derived from multiple repositories.

Claims (52)

1. A method comprising:

activating an application interface integration design management platform;

analyzing portions of application programming interface (“API”) data stored at multiple repositories in electronic communication with a data network to detect changes in data states of the portions of the application programming interface data;

extracting data representing the portions of the application programming interface data from the multiple repositories to form extracted data;

generating a list of application interfaces and separable application interface data components;

determining at least a portion of the application programming interface data stored in at least one repository differs from the extracted data stored in a data arrangement;

extracting data representing updated application programming interface data;

generating one or more indexed data structures associated with the list of application interfaces;

generating a build of one or more application programming interface data based on at least a portion of the updated application programming interface data;

determining at least another portion of the application programming interface data is equivalent to a portion of the extracted data; and identifying an updated version.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein activating the application interface integration design management platform comprises:

receiving instructions to execute search of data associated with the multiple repositories.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein analyzing the portions of the application programming interface data comprises:

analyzing portions of one or more application programming interface design files.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein extracting the data representing the portions of the application programming interface data comprises:

extracting either modified application programming interface (“API”) data artifacts or application interface data components, or both.

5. The method of claim 1 wherein generating the one or more indexed data structures comprises:

generating one or more re-indexed data structures at least one which forms a data record.

6. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

generating one or more re-indexed data structures at least one of which forms a data record; and

storing the one or more re-indexed data structures in one or more portions of a consolidated data repository.

7. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

identifying a data signal indicating to trigger a build of an application programming interface (“API”).

8. The method of claim 1 further comprising:

identifying the updated version is associated with revised metadata derived at a version-controlled repository.

9. A system comprising:

a memory including executable instructions; and

a processor, responsive to executing the instructions, is configured to:

activate an application interface integration design management platform;

analyze portions of application programming interface (“API”) data stored at multiple repositories in electronic communication with a data network to detect changes in data states of the portions of the application programming interface data;

extract data representing the portions of the application programming interface data from the multiple repositories to form extracted data;

generate a list of application interfaces and separable application interface data components;

determine at least a portion of the application programming interface data stored in at least one repository differs from the extracted data stored in a data arrangement;

extract data representing updated application programming interface data;

generate one or more indexed data structure associated with the list of application interfaces;

generate a build of one or more application programming interface data based on at least a portion of the updated application programming interface data;

determine at least another portion of the application programming interface data is equivalent to a portion of the extracted data; and identify an updated version.

10. The system of claim 9 wherein a subset of the instructions causes the processor to:

receive instructions to execute search of data associated with the multiple repositories.

11. The system of claim 9 wherein a subset of the instructions causes the processor to:

analyze portions of one or more application programming interface design files.

12. The system of claim 9 wherein a subset of the instructions causes the processor to:

extract either modified application programming interface (“API”) data artifacts or application interface data components, or both.

13. The system of claim 9 wherein a subset of the instructions causes the processor to:

generate one or more re-indexed data structures at least one which forms a data record.

14. The system of claim 9 wherein a subset of the instructions causes the processor to:

generate one or more re-indexed data structures at least one of which forms a data record; and

store the one or more re-indexed data structures in one or more portions of a consolidated data repository.

15. The system of claim 9 wherein a subset of the instructions causes the processor to:

identify a data signal indicating to trigger a build of an application programming interface (“API”).

16. The system of claim 9 wherein the subset of the instructions further causes the processor to:

identify the updated version is associated with revised metadata derived at a version-controlled repository.
