NON-AQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of suppressing deformation such as bending of a positive electrode and a negative electrode when an electrode body expands. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that is an example of the embodiment of the present disclosure has a wound electrode body in which a band-shaped positive electrode and a band-shaped negative electrode are wound with a separator interposed therebetween, and a cylindrical metal outer body accommodating the electrode body.
1 . A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, comprising:
a wound electrode assembly in which a band-shaped positive electrode and a band-shaped negative electrode are wound with a separator interposed therebetween; and
a metallic exterior housing body that houses the electrode assembly, wherein
the positive electrode or the negative electrode is exposed on an outermost circumference surface of the electrode assembly, and a fixing tape having a substrate layer and an adhesive layer is attached to the positive electrode or the negative electrode by means of the adhesive layer; and
the substrate layer has a surface roughness (Sa) of 40 μm or more on a region having a width of at least 1 mm from the end part.
2 . The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein the exterior housing body is in cylindrical form.
3 . The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein
the positive electrode has a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode mixture layer formed on a surface of the positive electrode current collector;
the negative electrode has a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer formed on a surface of the negative electrode current collector; and
the positive electrode current collector or the negative electrode current collector is exposed on the outermost circumference surface of the electrode assembly.
4 . The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 3 , wherein the negative electrode current collector is exposed on an entire surface of the outermost circumference surface of the electrode assembly.
5 . The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to claim 1 , wherein a surface roughness (Sa) of an entire surface of the substrate layer is 40 μm or more.
