Abstract

A light emitting apparatus, including: a first light emitting device with a first substrate having a first upper surface and first bottom surface, a plurality of first LED chips disposed on the first upper surface, emitting a light penetrating the first substrate, and a first wavelength conversion layer directly contacting the plurality of first LED chips and first upper surface, and a first shape in a cross-sectional view; a second wavelength conversion layer directly contacting the first bottom surface; a second shape in the cross-sectional view substantially the same as the first shape; a second light emitting device separated from the first light emitting device, including a second substrate and plurality of second LEDs disposed on the second substrate; a support base connected to the first light emitting device by a first angle and connected to the second light emitting device by a second angle; and a first support arranged between the support base and first light emitting device.

Claims (32)

1. A light emitting apparatus, comprising:

a first light emitting device comprising:

a first substrate having a first upper surface and a first bottom surface;

a plurality of first LED chips disposed on the first upper surface and emitting a light penetrating the first substrate; and

a first wavelength conversion layer directly contacting the plurality of first LED chips and the first upper surface, and having a first shape in a cross-sectional view; and

a second wavelength conversion layer directly contacting first bottom surface, and having a second shape in the cross-sectional view, wherein the second shape is substantially the same as the first shape;

a second light emitting device separated from the first light emitting device, and comprising a second substrate and a plurality of second LEDs disposed on the second substrate; and

a support base connected to the first light emitting device by a first angle and connected to the second light emitting device by a second angle; and

a first support arranged between the support base and the first light emitting device.

2. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first substrate comprises a material selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, sapphire, glass, plastics, and rubber.

3. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first support is flexible.

4. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a lamp housing accommodating the first light emitting device and the second light emitting device.

5. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein, the first light emitting device has a first color temperature measured above the first upper surface, and a second color temperature measured under the first bottom surface, the first color temperature and the second color temperature have a difference equal to or less than 1500K.

6. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support base has a central axis, the first substrate has a first side surface pointing to the central axis.

7. The light emitting apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the second substrate has a second side surface pointing to the central axis.

8. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein said first angle ranges from 30° to 150°.

9. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , further comprising a bonding layer connecting the first light emitting device and the first support.

10. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first angle is adjustable.

11. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of first LED chips comprises a light emitting surface, and

wherein the first upper surface is at least five times a total area of the light emitting surfaces of the plurality of first LED chips.

12. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of first LED chips comprises a light emitting surface, and

wherein the first upper surface is at least five times an area of the light emitting surface.

13. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of first LED chips comprises a light emitting surface, and

wherein the first bottom surface is at least five times a total area of the light emitting surfaces of the plurality of first LED chips.

14. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of first LED chips comprises a light emitting surface, and

wherein the first bottom surface is at least five times an area of the light emitting surface.

15. The light emitting apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the first substrate and the second substrate are point-symmetrical relative to the center axis on the support base.

16. The light emitting apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the first substrate and the second substrate are line-symmetrical relative to the center axis on the support base.

17. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first substrate and the second substrate are disposed in an asymmetrical manner on the support base.

18. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support base has a shape formed in a square, a rectangle, a regular hexagon, a hollow circle, or a hollow polygon.

19. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support base comprises a material comprising metal, ceramic, glass, plastics, resin, or printed circuit board (PCB).

20. The light emitting apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the light emitting apparatus comprises a total of three, four, or five light emitting devices disposed on the support base.
