Abstract

Systems and methods of task implementation are extended as provided herein and target the web crawling process through a step of submitting a request by a customer to a web crawler. The systems and methods allow a more complex request for a web crawler to be defined in order to receive more specific data. In one aspect, a method for data extraction and gathering from a Network by a Service provider infrastructure include the following steps: checking the parameters of a request received from a User's Device, adjusting the request parameters according to pre-established Scraping logic, selecting a Proxy according to the criteria of the pre-established Scraping logic, sending the adjusted request to the Target through the selected Proxy, checking metadata received from the Target, and forwarding the data to the User's device.

Claims (31)

1. A method for optimizing a set of request parameters by a service provider infrastructure comprising:

checking, by a request optimizer, a set of request parameters, wherein the set of request parameters are received along with a data collection request from a user device and the data collection request is intended for a target;

modifying, by the request optimizer, the set of request parameters, according to a scraping logic, wherein the request optimizer, concludes that the set of request parameters are not aligned with the target;

requesting, by the request optimizer, a proxy from a proxy rotator, wherein the proxy rotator, in response to the set of request parameters, chooses a suitable proxy for executing the data collection request received from the user device by accessing a proxy database and sends proxy information of the suitable proxy to the request optimizer;

executing, by the request optimizer, the data collection request through the suitable proxy, wherein the suitable proxy obtains response data from the target and forwards the response data to the request optimizer, and the response data is a reply for the data collection request from the target;

upon receiving the response data from the suitable proxy, analyzing, by the request optimizer, metadata of the response data;

forwarding, by the request optimizer, the response data to the user device after the request optimizer determines correctness of the response data.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the set of request parameters comprise at least one or a combination of: URL address; headers; cookies.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the request optimizer, the proxy rotator, and the proxy database are components of the service provider infrastructure.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the suitable proxy forwards the response data obtained from the target to the request optimizer without modifying the response data.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the scraping logic comprises at least a set of pre-established rules for applying data collection strategies to the data collection request received from the user device.

6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the set of pre-established rules for applying data collection strategies are stored in a memory of the request optimizer.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the proxy rotator is responsible for: proxy control, rotating, maintenance, collecting statistical data, and reporting.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the proxy database is populated by the proxy rotator with the proxy information of multiple proxies.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the user device interfaces with the request optimizer through a network.

10. A system to optimize parameters of a data collection request comprising:

a request optimizer employable to:

check a set of request parameters received along with a data collection request, from a user device;

modify the set of request parameters according to a scraping logic, wherein the set of request parameters are not aligned with a target;

request a proxy from a proxy rotator, wherein the proxy rotator, in response to the request optimizer, chooses a suitable proxy from a proxy database for executing the data collection request received from the user device and sends proxy information of the suitable proxy to the request optimizer;

execute the data collection request through the suitable proxy, wherein the suitable proxy obtains response data from the target and forwards the response data to the request optimizer, and the response data is a reply for the data collection request from the target;

analyze metadata of the response data;

forward the response data to the user device, wherein the request optimizer, prior to forwarding the response data, determines correctness of the response data.

11. The system of claim 10 , wherein the request optimizer, the proxy rotator and the proxy database are constituents of the service provider infrastructure.

12. The system of claim 10 , wherein the set of request parameters comprise at least one or a combination of: URL address; headers; cookies.

13. The system of claim 10 , wherein the scraping logic comprises at least a set of pre-established rules for applying data collection strategies to the data collection request received from the user device.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the set of pre-established rules for applying data collection strategies are stored in a memory of the request optimizer.

15. The system of claim 10 , wherein the proxy rotator is responsible for: proxy control, rotating, maintenance, collecting statistical data and reporting.

16. The system of claim 10 , wherein the proxy database is populated by the proxy rotator, with the proxy information of multiple proxies.

17. The system of claim 10 , wherein the suitable proxy forwards the response data obtained from the target to the request optimizer without modifying the response data.

18. The system of claim 10 , wherein the user device interfaces with the request optimizer through a network.
