Abstract

Systems and methods for importing a batch of receiver accounts. One method may include: receiving, at a user interface of the application platform on an information handling device, a selection to import a receiver file, wherein the receiver file comprises a listing of a plurality of receiver accounts; identifying, via analysis of the receiver file, one or more data points associated with each of the plurality of receiver accounts in the listing; determining, based on the identified one or more data points, whether a subset of the plurality of receiver accounts contain a deficiency; and providing, on the user interface of the application platform, results associated with the determining.

Claims (52)

1 . A method of importing a batch of receiver accounts onto an application platform associated with a real-time transaction system comprising a processor and a memory storing instructions, the method comprising:

receiving, at a user interface of the application platform, a selection to import a receiver file, wherein the receiver file comprises a listing of a plurality of receiver accounts;

identifying, by the processor and via analysis of the receiver file, one or more data points associated with each of the plurality of receiver accounts in the listing;

determining, by the processor and based on the identified one or more data points, that a subset of the plurality of receiver accounts contain a deficiency;

displaying, by the processor, an import status window over the user interface, wherein the import status window includes an import status table including an indication of a total number of the plurality of receiver accounts in the receiver file, an indication of a total number of successfully imported receiver accounts of the plurality of receiver accounts, and an indication for each deficient receiver account of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts;

displaying, by the processor, a deficient receiver account download icon in the import status window;

downloading, by the processor and upon detecting selection input to the deficient receiver account download icon, data in an editable document, the data associated with each deficient receiver account of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts;

importing, via the user interface of the application platform, the editable document comprising user edits to the data; and

updating, by the processor and in response to importing the editable document, a receiver accounts record to include the user edits to the data.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein a format associated with the receiver file is dictated by one or more protocols of the application platform.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more data points comprise at least one informational characteristic selected from the group of: beneficiary information, receiver account information, and associated financial institution information.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the determining comprises comparing the one or more data points against one or more data stores containing verified data for each of the one or more data points.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the deficient receiver account download icon is configured to appear over a portion of the user interface.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the deficient receiver account download icon is configured to automatically appear in the import status windowresponsive to the providing.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein each of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts is visually distinguished in the deficient receiver account download icon.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

presenting, on the user interface, an option to download a portion of the receiver file associated with the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts.

9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising updating a pool of selectable receiver accounts on the application platform with a remainder of the plurality of receiver accounts excluding the subset.

10 . A real-time transaction system, comprising:

one or more computer readable media storing instructions for importing a batch of receiver accounts onto an application platform; and

one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:

receiving, at a user interface of the application platform, a selection to import a receiver file, wherein the receiver file comprises a listing of a plurality of receiver accounts;

identifying, by the processor and via analysis of the receiver file, one or more data points associated with each of the plurality of receiver accounts in the listing;

determining, by the processor and based on the identified one or more data points, that a subset of the plurality of receiver accounts contain a deficiency;

displaying, by the processor, an import status window over the user interface, wherein the import status window includes an import status table including an indication of a total number of the plurality of receiver accounts in the receiver file, an indication of a total number of successfully imported receiver accounts of the plurality of receiver accounts, and an indication for each deficient receiver account of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts;

displaying, by the processor, a deficient receiver account download icon in the import status window;

downloading, by the processor and upon detecting selection input to the deficient receiver account download icon, data in an editable document, the data associated with each deficient receiver account of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts;

importing, via the user interface of the application platform, the editable document comprising user edits to the data; and

updating, by the processor and in response to importing the editable document, a receiver accounts record to include the user edits to the data.

11 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein a format associated with the receiver file is dictated by one or more protocols of the application platform.

12 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the one or more data points comprise at least one informational characteristic selected from the group of: beneficiary information, receiver account information, and associated financial institution information.

13 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the operations to determine further comprise:

comparing the one or more data points against one or more data stores containing verified data for each of the one or more data points.

14 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the deficient receiver account download icon is configured to automatically appear in the import status window.

15 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein each of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts is visually distinguished in the deficient receiver account download icon.

16 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the operations further comprise:

presenting, on the user interface, an option to download a portion of the receiver file associated with the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts.

17 . The real-time transaction system of claim 10 , wherein the operations further comprise:

updating a pool of selectable receiver accounts on the application platform with a remainder of the plurality of receiver accounts excluding the subset.

18 . A real-time transaction system, comprising:

one or more computer readable media storing instructions for importing a batch of receivers accounts onto an application platform associated with a real-time electronic transaction; and

one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations comprising:

receiving, at a user interface of the application platform, a selection to import a receiver file, wherein the receiver file comprises a listing of a plurality of receiver accounts;

identifying, by the processor and via analysis of the receiver file, one or more data points associated with each of the plurality of receiver accounts in the listing;

determining, by the processor and based on the identified one or more data points, that a subset of the plurality of receiver accounts contain a deficiency;

displaying, by the processor, an import status window over the user interface, wherein the import status window includes an import status table including an indication of a total number of the plurality of receiver accounts in the receiver file, an indication of a total number of successfully imported receiver accounts of the plurality of receiver accounts, and an indication for each deficient receiver account of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts;

displaying, by the processor, a deficient receiver account download icon in the import status window;

downloading, by the processor and upon detecting selection input to the deficient receiver account download icon, data in an editable document, the data associated with each deficient receiver account of the subset of the plurality of receiver accounts;

importing, via the user interface of the application platform, the editable document comprising user edits to the data; and

updating, by the processor and in response to importing the editable document, a receiver accounts record to include the user edits to the data.

19 . The method of claim 4 , wherein a data point of the one or more data points is an account number.

20 . The real-time transaction system of claim 13 , wherein a data point of the one or more data points is an account number.
