Medical Intelligence System and Method
A method, computer program product, and computing system for: monitoring a meeting between a patient and a medical entity during a medical encounter; gathering information during the medical encounter, thus generating gathered encounter information; and providing supplemental information to the medical entity based, at least in part, upon the gathered encounter information.
1 . A computer-implemented method, executed on a computing system, comprising:
monitoring a meeting between a patient and a medical entity during a medical encounter;
gathering information during the medical encounter, thus generating gathered encounter information; and
providing supplemental information to the medical entity based, at least in part, upon the gathered encounter information.
2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the medical entity includes one or more of:
a medical professional; and
a medical virtual assistant.
3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the meeting includes one or more of:
an intake portion;
a consultation portion; and
a follow-up portion.
4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the medical encounter includes one or more of:
an in-person medical encounter; and
a telehealth medical encounter.
5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein providing supplemental information to the medical entity based, at least in part, upon the gathered encounter information includes:
providing supplemental information to the medical entity based, at least in part, upon the gathered encounter information via an informational window.
6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 5 wherein the informational window is a transparent overlay informational window.
7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the supplemental information includes one of more of:
patient status information;
EHR-provided information;
patient-provided information;
patient allergy information;
patient medication information;
medication interaction information; and
AI-generated information.
8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the patient status information includes one or more of:
current patient status information; and
historic patient status information.
9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein AI-generated information includes one or more of:
AI-generated best practices information;
AI-generated medical encounter workflow information;
AI-generated recommendations;
AI-generated suggested inquiry information; and
AI-generated observational information.
10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 9 wherein the AI-generated observational information includes one or more of:
AI-generated audible observational information; and
AI-generated visual observational information.
11 . A computer program product residing on a computer readable medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
monitoring a meeting between a patient and a medical entity during a medical encounter;
gathering information during the medical encounter, thus generating gathered encounter information; and
providing supplemental information to the medical entity based, at least in part, upon the gathered encounter information.
12 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the medical entity includes one or more of:
a medical professional; and
a medical virtual assistant.
13 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the meeting includes one or more of:
an intake portion;
a consultation portion; and
a follow-up portion.

patient status information;
EHR-provided information;
patient-provided information;
patient allergy information;
patient medication information;
medication interaction information; and
AI-generated information.
18 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the patient status information includes one or more of:
current patient status information; and
historic patient status information.
19 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein AI-generated information includes one or more of:
AI-generated best practices information;
AI-generated medical encounter workflow information;
AI-generated recommendations;
AI-generated suggested inquiry information; and
AI-generated observational information.

21 . A computing system including a processor and memory configured to perform operations comprising:
monitoring a meeting between a patient and a medical entity during a medical encounter;
gathering information during the medical encounter, thus generating gathered encounter information; and
providing supplemental information to the medical entity based, at least in part, upon the gathered encounter information.
22 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein the medical entity includes one or more of:
a medical professional; and
a medical virtual assistant.
