Abstract

An example system includes a first headset including first sensor to gather first user data from a first subject during exposure to media, the first user data including at least one of psychophysiological data or physiological data; and a first processor to generate first data indicative of an emotional response of the first subject based on the first user data. The example system includes a second headset including a second sensor to gather second user data from the second subject during exposure to the media, the second user data including at least one of psychophysiological data or physiological data; a second processor to generate second data indicative of an emotional response of the second subject based on the second user data and synchronize the second data with the first data to generate synchronized response data; and a second transmitter to transmit the synchronized response data to a central processor.

Claims (51)

1 . (canceled)

2 . An apparatus comprising:

memory including machine readable instructions; and

processor circuitry to execute the instructions to:

detect a first physiological condition in a first portion of electroencephalographic (EEG) data gathered from a subject exposed to media;

compare the first physiological condition to a target physiological condition;

generate a plan for the subject to follow to change the first physiological condition when the first physiological condition does not meet the target physiological condition;

detect a second physiological condition in a second portion of the EEG data;

compare the second physiological condition to the target physiological condition; and

remove, from analysis of the media, at least one of the first portion of the EEG data when the first physiological condition does not meet the target physiological condition or the second portion of the EEG data when the second physiological condition does not meet the target physiological condition.

3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the first physiological condition and the second physiological condition are a blink rate.

4 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the target physiological condition is a maximum blink rate and to meet the target physiological condition, the first physiological condition and the second physiological condition are below the target physiological condition.

5 . The apparatus of claim 3 , wherein the plan is to be followed to reduce the blink rate.

6 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the processor circuitry is to transmit the EEG data that is not removed to a central processor.

7 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the subject is a first subject, the apparatus including a first headset worn by the first subject, and the processor circuitry is to transmit the EEG data that is not removed to a second headset worn by a second subject.

8 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the subject is a first subject and the EEG data is first EEG data, the apparatus including a first headset worn by the first subject, and the processor circuitry is to receive second EEG data from a second headset worn by a second subject.

9 . The apparatus of claim 8 , wherein the processor circuitry is to synchronize the first EEG data and the second EEG data and transmit the synchronized EEG data to a central processor.

10 . A machine readable storage device or storage disc comprising instructions, which when executed by a machine, cause the machine to at least:

detect a first physiological condition in a first portion of electroencephalographic (EEG) data gathered from a subject exposed to media;

compare the first physiological condition to a target physiological condition;

generate a plan for the subject to follow to change the first physiological condition when the first physiological condition does not meet the target physiological condition;

detect a second physiological condition in a second portion of the EEG data;

compare the second physiological condition to the target physiological condition; and

remove, from analysis of the media, at least one of the first portion of the EEG data when the first physiological condition does not meet the target physiological condition or the second portion of the EEG data when the second physiological condition does not meet the target physiological condition.

11 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 10 , wherein the first physiological condition and the second physiological condition are a blink rate.

12 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 11 , wherein the target physiological condition is a maximum blink rate and to meet the target physiological condition, the first physiological condition and the second physiological condition are below the target physiological condition.

13 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 11 , wherein the plan is to be followed to reduce the blink rate.

14 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 10 , wherein the instructions cause the machine to transmit the EEG data that is not removed to a central processor.

15 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 10 , wherein the subject is a first subject, and the instructions cause the machine to transmit the EEG data that is not removed to a headset worn by a second subject.

16 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 10 , wherein the subject is a first subject and the EEG data is first EEG data, and the instructions cause the machine to receive second EEG data from a headset worn by a second subject.

17 . The storage device or storage disc of claim 16 , wherein the instructions cause the machine to synchronize the first EEG data and the second EEG data and transmit the synchronized EEG data to a central processor.

18 . A system comprising:

a first headset including:

first memory including machine readable instructions; and

first processor circuitry to execute the instructions to:

detect a first physiological condition in a first portion of first electroencephalographic (EEG) data gathered from a first subject exposed to media;

compare the first physiological condition of the first subject to a target physiological condition;

detect a second physiological condition of the first subject in a second portion of the first EEG data;

compare the second physiological condition of the first subject to the target physiological condition; and

remove, from analysis of the media, at least one of the first portion of the first EEG data when the first physiological condition of the first subject does not meet the target physiological condition or the second portion of the first EEG data when the second physiological condition of the first subject does not meet the target physiological condition; and

a second headset including:

second memory including the machine readable instructions; and

second processor circuitry to execute the instructions to:

detect a first physiological condition in a first portion of second electroencephalographic (EEG) data gathered from a second subject exposed to the media;

compare the first physiological condition of the second subject to the target physiological condition;

detect a second physiological condition of the second subject in a second portion of the second EEG data;

compare the second physiological condition of the second subject to the target physiological condition; and

remove, from analysis of the media, at least one of the first portion of the second EEG data when the first physiological condition of the second subject does not meet the target physiological condition or the second portion of the second EEG data when the second physiological condition of the second subject does not meet the target physiological condition
