Abstract

Systems and methods for automatically generating manifest information for shipments. Shipping labels are automatically assigned to groups, based on one or more label attributes. Manifest information is automatically generated for one or more groups of shipping labels.

Claims (44)

1 . A method comprising:

receiving a request from a facility computing device of a facility associated with a sender platform account;

generating a label data object for the sender platform account based on the request;

assigning the label data object to a label group;

generating manifest information for the label group based on a facility configuration for the facility and manifest requirements for a carrier, wherein the manifest information is generated in response to a manifest trigger; and

providing the manifest information to an external system.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the label data object comprises an array.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the manifest information for the label group comprises a SCAN form.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein a multi-tenant service platform performs the method, wherein the multi-tenant service platform comprises an application programming interface (API), the method further comprising:

with the API, receiving authentication information for the sender platform account, wherein the facility configuration for the facility is determined based on the authentication information;

with the API, receiving error data from a computing system of the carrier that identifies manifest information errors; and

training a model based on the error data, wherein the model determines the manifest requirements for the carrier, and wherein manifest information for another facility is determined using the model.

5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising repeating the method for each of a plurality of facilities, wherein the manifest information for each facility is concurrently generated.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein assigning the label data object to a label group comprises assigning the label data object to the label group for which manifest information has not already been generated.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein assigning the label data object to a label group comprises determining whether a label group associated with the manifest requirements exists for the label data object.

8 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising generating a new label group when the label group does not exist, and assigning the label data object to the new label group.

9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein generating the new label group comprises storing the label group at a data store, wherein determining whether a label group associated with the manifest requirements exists for the label data object comprises searching label group data stored in the data store.

10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising controlling a vehicle to navigate to the facility.

1 . method of claim 1 , wherein generating manifest information for the label group comprises updating label group manifest state information for the label group, wherein the label group manifest state information identifies that the manifest information has been generated.

12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the external system comprises a computing system of the sender platform account, wherein the computing system controls a printer to print the manifest information.

13 . The method further comprising:

receiving a configuration request from a device, wherein the configuration request comprises authentication information for the sender platform account associated with the facility;

authenticating the configuration request based on the authentication information; and

generating the facility configuration for the facility of the sender platform account based on the authenticated configuration request.

14 . A system for generating manifest information comprising:

a set of sender platform accounts, wherein a set of facilities are associated with each sender platform account;

a multi-tenant service platform configured to:

receive a request from a facility computing device of a facility associated with a sender platform account;

generate a label data object for the sender platform account based on the request;

assign the label data object to a label group;

generate manifest information for the label group based on a facility configuration for the facility and a manifest model for a carrier, wherein the manifest information is generated in response to a manifest trigger; and

provide the manifest information to an external system.

15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the label data object comprises an array.

16 . The system of claim 14 , further comprising:

receiving manifest information error data from the carrier; and

automatically retraining the manifest model based on the manifest information error data.

17 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the multi-tenant service platform is further configured to:

receive a configuration request from a device, wherein the configuration request comprises authentication information for the sender platform account associated with the facility;

authenticate the configuration request based on the authentication information; and

generate the facility configuration for the facility of the sender platform account based on the authenticated configuration request.

18 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the facility configuration comprises at least one of an address of the facility, a carrier used by the facility, or manifest configuration for the carrier used by the facility.

19 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the manifest configuration defines a cut-off-time, wherein the manifest trigger comprises a satisfaction of the cut-off-time.

20 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the multi-tenant service platform is further configured to facilitate a transfer of packages to the carrier, wherein each package is associated with a label data object, wherein facilitating the transfer of packages to the carrier comprises:

printing the manifest information using a printer controlled by the external system, wherein the printed manifest information and packages are presented to the carrier.
