Abstract

Systems and methods for providing a universal platform for at-home health testing and diagnostics are provided herein. In particular, a health testing and diagnostic platform is provided to connect medical providers with patients and to generate a unique, private testing environment. In some embodiments, the testing environment may facilitate administration of a medical test to a patient with the guidance of a proctor. In some embodiments, the patient may be provided with step-by-step instructions for test administration by the proctor within a testing environment. The platform may display unique, dynamic testing interfaces to the patient and proctor to ensure proper testing protocols and accurate test result verification.

Claims (48)

1. A computer-implemented system for a multi-session proctored examination platform, the computer-implemented system comprising:

an electronic storage medium comprising computer-executable instructions; and

one or more processors configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to:

cause a graphical user interface (GUI) to be displayed on a display of a proctor device, the GUI configured to display to a proctor a graphical representation indicating a plurality of phases associated with a testing protocol for medical diagnostic testing;

establish a plurality of electronic video conference sessions between the proctor device and a plurality of user computing devices, each of the user computing devices associated with a user of a plurality of users undergoing medical diagnostic testing; and

for at least one of the plurality of electronic video conference sessions, cause a live video feed of a user to be displayed on the GUI on the proctor device relative to the graphical representation indicating the plurality of phases of the medical diagnostic test to indicate a current phase of the user;

wherein a position of the live video feed relative to the graphical representation changes location upon completion of each testing phase, such that the GUI is automatically and dynamically updated.

2. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to cause content data to be displayed on the plurality of user devices, wherein the content data comprises augmented reality content data for showing each of the plurality of users how to administer the medical diagnostic test.

3. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to cause content data to be displayed on the plurality of user devices, wherein the content data comprises virtual reality content data for showing the plurality of users how to administer the medical diagnostic test.

4. The computer-implemented system of claim 2 , wherein the proctor can simultaneously conduct each of the plurality of video conference sessions with the plurality of users while monitoring the plurality of users that are viewing the content data.

5. The computer-implemented system of claim 4 , wherein the monitoring the plurality of users that are viewing the content data comprises transmitting to the proctor device video data of each of the plurality of users to ensure that the plurality of users are watching the content data.

6. The computer-implemented system of claim 5 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:

analyze, based on a computer vision algorithm, the video data to detect a medical diagnostic test device and to determine if the medical diagnostic test device has moved; and

transmit, based on determining that the medical diagnostic test device has moved, an alert notification to the proctor device to notify the proctor that the medical diagnostic test device has moved.

7. The computer-implemented system of claim 5 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to receive:

a mute request from the proctor device to mute the proctor for at least one of the plurality of electronic video conference sessions, and

an unmute request from the proctor device to unmute the proctor associated with the video data being transmitted to at least one of the plurality of users.

8. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 , wherein the current phase of each of the plurality of users are different phases.

9. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 , wherein the computing system comprises one or more computing systems.

10. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:

receive a selection of one of the plurality of users, wherein the selection is made by the proctor through the GUI displayed on the proctor device;

generate content data based on the selection of one of the plurality of users; and

cause the content data to by displayed on the GUI on the proctor device.

11. The computer-implemented system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are further configured to:

receive a selection of one of the plurality of users, wherein the selection is made by the proctor through the GUI displayed on the proctor device;

establish an audio channel between the proctor device and the user computing device of the selection of one of the plurality of users; and

terminate any other audio channel between the proctor device and any other user computing device.

12. A computer-implemented method for a multi-session proctored examination platform, the computer-implemented method comprising:

causing, by a computer system, a graphical user interface (GUI) to be displayed on a display of a proctor device, the GUI configured to display to a proctor a graphical representation indicating a plurality of phases associated with a testing protocol for medical diagnostic testing;

establishing, by the computer system, a plurality of electronic video conference sessions between the proctor device and a plurality of user computing devices, each of the user computing devices associated with a user of a plurality of users undergoing medical diagnostic testing; and

for at least one of the plurality of electronic video conference sessions, causing, by the computer system, a live video feed of a user to be displayed on the GUI on the proctor device relative to the graphical representation indicating the plurality of phases of the medical diagnostic test to indicate a current phase of the user, wherein a position of the live video feed relative to the graphical representation changes location upon completion of each testing phase, such that the GUI is automatically and dynamically updated;

wherein the computer system comprises a computer processor and an electronic storage medium.

13. The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , further comprising causing content data to be displayed on the plurality of user devices, wherein the content data comprises augmented reality content data for showing each of the plurality of users how to administer the medical diagnostic test.

14. The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , further comprising causing content data to be displayed on the plurality of user devices, wherein the content data comprises virtual reality content data for showing the plurality of users how to administer the medical diagnostic test.

15. The computer-implemented method of claim 14 , wherein the proctor can simultaneously conduct each of the plurality of video conference sessions with the plurality of users while monitoring the plurality of users that are viewing the content data.

16. The computer-implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the monitoring the plurality of users that are viewing the content data comprises transmitting to the proctor device video data of each of the plurality of users to ensure that the plurality of users are watching the content data.

17. The computer-implemented method of claim 16 , further comprising:

analyzing, based on a computer vision algorithm, the video data to detect a medical diagnostic test device and to determine if the medical diagnostic test device has moved; and

transmitting, based on determining that the medical diagnostic test device has moved, an alert notification to the proctor device to notify the proctor that the medical diagnostic test device has moved.

18. The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , wherein the current phase of each of the plurality of users are different phases.

19. The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , further comprising:

receiving a selection of one of the plurality of users, wherein the selection is made by the proctor through the GUI displayed on the proctor device;

generating content data based on the selection of one of the plurality of users; and

causing the content data to by displayed on the GUI on the proctor device.

20. The computer-implemented method of claim 12 , further comprising:

receiving a selection of one of the plurality of users, wherein the selection is made by the proctor through the GUI displayed on the proctor device;

establishing an audio channel between the proctor device and the user computing device of the selection of one of the plurality of users; and
