Abstract

Disclosed embodiments provide a framework to assist customers in obtaining relevant responses from brands and other users to the intents communicated by these customers. In response to obtaining an intent, an intent messaging service identifies one or more users that can be provided with the intent to solicit responses to the intent. The one or more users are selected based on characteristics of the intent. The intent messaging service evaluates the responses to the intent from the one or more users to identify relevant responses that can be presented to the customer. The intent messaging service provides the relevant responses to the intent to the customer, which can determine which users to interact with to address the intent.

Claims (53)

1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:

receiving a request to solicit responses associated with an intent, wherein the intent is associated with a customer, and wherein the request indicates one or more contacts known to the customer;

establishing a communications channel associated with the intent, wherein the communications channel is established between the customer and the one or more contacts known to the customer;

identifying a brand;

providing the intent, wherein the intent is provided without identifying information of the customer, and wherein when the intent is received at the brand, the brand provides a response to the intent;

receiving the response to the intent;

transmitting the response, wherein the response is transmitted through the communications channel; and

adding the brand to the communications channel, wherein when the brand is added to the communications channel, the brand receives the identifying information of the customer, and wherein communications responsive to the intent are facilitated over the communications channel between the customer and the one or more contacts known to the customer.

2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the brand is identified using a machine learning model, and wherein the machine learning model is updated using sample intents and sample outputs corresponding to features of the brand.

3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the identifying information is presented to the brand when the brand is added to the communications channel.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

transmitting a set of instructions, wherein when the set of instructions are received at an application associated with the brand, the set of instructions cause the application to prohibit creation of new responses to the intent, and wherein the instructions are transmitted in response to obtaining the response to the intent.

5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the intent is extracted from the request using Natural Language Processing (NLP).

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising:

submitting a query for additional information to supplement the intent, wherein when the query is received by the customer, the customer provides the additional information;

processing the additional information to identify the brand.

7. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the intent corresponds to a location associated with the customer and a timeframe for resolution of the intent, and wherein the brand is identified based on the location and the timeframe.

8. A system, comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing thereon instructions that, as a result of being executed by the one or more processors, cause the system to:

receive a request to solicit responses associated with an intent, wherein the intent is associated with a customer, and wherein the request indicates one or more contacts known to the customer;

establish a communications channel associated with the intent, wherein the communications channel is established between the customer and the one or more contacts known to the customer;

identify a brand;

provide the intent, wherein the intent is provided without identifying information of the customer, and wherein when the intent is received at the brand, the brand provides a response to the intent;

receive the response to the intent;

transmit the response, wherein the response is transmitted through the communications channel; and

add the brand to the communications channel, wherein when the brand is added to the communications channel, the brand receives the identifying information of the customer, and wherein communications responsive to the intent are facilitated over the communications channel between the customer and the one or more contacts known to the customer.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the brand is identified using a machine learning model, and wherein the machine learning model is updated using sample intents and sample outputs corresponding to features of the brand.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the identifying information is presented to the brand when the brand is added to the communications channel.

11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, as a result of being executed by the one or more processors, further cause the system to:

transmit particular instructions, wherein when the particular instructions are received at an application associated with the brand, the particular instructions cause the application to prohibit creation of new responses to the intent, and wherein the particular instructions are transmitted in response to obtaining the response to the intent.

12. The system of claim 8 , wherein the intent is extracted from the request using Natural Language Processing (NLP).

13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, as a result of being executed by the one or more processors, further cause the system to:

submit a query for additional information to supplement the intent, wherein when the query is received by the customer, the customer provides the additional information; and

process the additional information to identify the brand.

14. The system of claim 8 , wherein the intent corresponds to a location associated with the customer and a timeframe for resolution of the intent, and wherein the brand is identified based on the location and the timeframe.

15. A non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium storing thereon executable instructions that, as a result of being executed by one or more processors of a computer system, cause the computer system to:

receive a request to solicit responses associated with an intent, wherein the intent is associated with a customer, and wherein the request indicates one or more contacts known to the customer;

establish a communications channel associated with the intent, wherein the communications channel is established between the customer and the one or more contacts known to the customer;

identify a brand;

provide the intent, wherein the intent is provided without identifying information of the customer, and wherein when the intent is received at the brand, the brand provides a response to the intent;

receive the response to the intent;

transmit the response, wherein the response is transmitted through the communications channel; and

add the brand to the communications channel, wherein when the brand is added to the communications channel, the brand receives the identifying information of the customer, and wherein communications responsive to the intent are facilitated over the communications channel between the customer and the one or more contacts known to the customer.

16. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the brand is identified using a machine learning model, and wherein the machine learning model is updated using sample intents and sample outputs corresponding to features of the brand.

17. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the identifying information is presented to the brand when the brand is added to the communications channel.

18. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the executable instructions, as a result of being executed by the one or more processors, further cause the computer system to:

transmit particular instructions, wherein when the particular instructions are received at an application associated with the brand, the particular instructions cause the application to prohibit creation of new responses to the intent, and wherein the particular instructions are transmitted in response to obtaining the response to the intent.

19. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the intent is extracted from the request using Natural Language Processing (NLP).

20. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the executable instructions, as a result of being executed by the one or more processors, further cause the computer system to:

submit a query for additional information to supplement the intent, wherein when the query is received by the customer, the customer provides the additional information; and

process the additional information to identify the brand.

21. The non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium of claim 15 , wherein the intent corresponds to a location associated with the customer and a timeframe for resolution of the intent, and wherein the brand is identified based on the location and the timeframe.
