High voltage battery rack
The present invention provides a high voltage battery rack, including: a plurality of battery modules electrically connected with each other; and a rack controller configured to control the plurality of battery modules, wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises: external terminals; and an MSD module configured to determine whether a voltage is applied to the external terminals during operation.
1. A battery module, comprising:
a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other;
a cell connection unit electrically connecting the plurality of battery cells with each other;
a rear cover member covering at least a portion of the cell connection unit; and
a fusing bus bar cover,
wherein the cell connection unit includes a fusing bus bar, the fusing bus bar having a rupture part,
wherein the fusing bus bar cover is disposed between the fusing bus bar and the rear cover member,
wherein the rear cover member includes an opening part facing the rupture part,
wherein the fusing bus bar cover includes a protrusion facing the rupture part, the protrusion being inserted into the opening part, and
wherein the protrusion is transparent.
2. The battery module according to claim 1 , wherein the rupture part is visible through the opening part.
3. The battery module according to claim 1 , further comprising a cell cover member disposed between the fusing bus bar and the plurality of battery cells.
4. The battery module according to claim 1 ,
wherein the fusing bus bar cover is made of an insulation material.
5. The battery module according to claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the fusing bus bar cover is transparent.
6. The battery module according to claim 1 , wherein the rupture part includes an opening formed in at least a portion thereof.
7. A high voltage battery rack, comprising:
a plurality of battery modules electrically connected with each other,
wherein each of the plurality of battery modules comprises:
external terminals; and
an MSD (Manual Service Device) module having a switch,
a plurality of battery cells stacked on each other;
a cell connection unit electrically connecting the plurality of battery cells with each other;
a rear cover member covering at least a portion of the cell connection unit; and
a fusing bus bar cover,
wherein the cell connection unit includes a fusing bus bar, the fusing bus bar having a rupture part,
wherein the fusing bus bar cover is disposed between the fusing bus bar and the rear cover member,
wherein the rear cover member includes an opening part facing the rupture part,
wherein one end of the MSD module is connected to the plurality of battery modules and another end of the MSD module is connected to one of the external terminals,
wherein the fusing bus bar cover includes a protrusion facing the rupture part, the protrusion being inserted into the opening part, and
wherein the protrusion is transparent.
8. The high voltage battery rack according to claim 7 , wherein the rupture part is visible through the opening part.
9. The high voltage battery rack according to claim 7 , wherein each of the plurality of battery modules includes a cell cover member disposed between the fusing bus bar and the plurality of battery cells.
10. The high voltage battery rack according to claim 7 ,
wherein the fusing bus bar cover is made of an insulation material.
11. The high voltage battery rack according to claim 7 , wherein at least a portion of the fusing bus bar cover is transparent.
12. The high voltage battery rack according to claim 7 , wherein the rupture part includes an opening formed in at least a portion thereof.
