Abstract

A system and a method allow for the provision of an incentive between different applications. A server stores information including, in association, a user identifier, a first identifier, and a second identifier received from a client terminal, and when receiving an incentive request, causes an application server to provide an incentive to the user pertaining to the first identifier corresponding to the second identifier based on the information.

upon receiving the digital benefit request, determining whether the indication of receiving the notification of the click that is in association with the first app user identifier corresponding to the second app user identifier included in the digital benefit request exists in the memory based on the associations between the user identifier, the first app user identifier and the second app user identifier stored in the memory; and

causing provision of the digital benefit to the user identified by the first app user identifier in the first application in response to determining that the indication of receiving the notification of the click that is in association with the first app user identifier corresponding to the second app user identifier included in the digital benefit request exists in the memory.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein

the causing provision of the digital benefit includes transmitting a converted request generated by converting the second app user identifier included in the digital benefit request to the first app user identifier upon receiving the digital benefit request.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein

the predetermined operation includes one of launching the second application, finishing a tutorial in the second application, participating in a group battle of a game, and interacting with a friend user in the game.

4. The method of claim 2 , wherein

the converted request is transmitted in response to receiving the digital benefit request within a predetermined time period from a time of receiving the notification.

5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising

receiving friend graph information pertaining to the first application for the user;

storing the friend graph information in the memory;

receiving an installation notification when the second application is installed for the user; and

transmitting second application information to a friend user included in the friend graph information upon receiving the installation notification.

6. The method of claim 5 , further comprising

receiving consent information indicating whether consent is provided for transmission of the second application information to the friend user; and

transmitting the second application information to the friend user upon the consent being provided in the consent information.

7. The method of claim 5 , further comprising

receiving a second installation notification when the second application is installed for the friend user based on the second application information transmitted to the friend user; and

causing provision of another digital benefit upon receiving the second installation notification.

8. A system comprising:

a memory configured to store in association with each other a user identifier that uniquely identifies a user and a first app user identifier that uniquely identifies the user in a first application, the user identifier being different from the first app user identifier;

a communication interface configured to

receive notification of a click of a link for installation of a second application while the first application is launched, the notification including the first app user identifier, wherein the memory stores an indication of receiving the notification of the click in association with the first app user identifier,

receive the user identifier and a second app user identifier that uniquely identifies the user in the second application when the second application is launched, the second app user identifier being different from the user identifier and the first app user identifier, wherein the memory stores the user identifier in association with the second app user identifier, and

receive a digital benefit request that includes the second app user identifier when a predetermined operation pertaining to the second application is performed, the digital benefit request being information requesting provision of a digital benefit in the first application; and

circuitry configured to

upon the communication interface receiving the digital benefit request, determine whether the indication of receiving the notification of the click that is in association with the first app user identifier corresponding to the second app user identifier included in the digital benefit request exists in the memory based on the associations between the user identifier, the first app user identifier and the second app user identifier stored in the memory, and

cause provision of the digital benefit to the user identified by the first app user identifier in the first application in response to determining that the indication of receiving the notification of the click that is in association with the first app user identifier corresponding to the second app user identifier included in the digital benefit request exists in the memory.

9. The system of claim 8 , wherein

in causing provision of the digital benefit, the circuitry transmits a converted request generated by converting the second app user identifier included in the digital benefit request to the first app user identifier upon the communication interface receiving the digital benefit request.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein

the predetermined operation includes one of launching the second application, finishing a tutorial in the second application, participating in a group battle of a game, and interacting with a friend user in the game.

11. The system of claim 9 , wherein

the converted request is transmitted in response to the communication interface receiving the digital benefit request within a predetermined time period from a time of receiving the notification.

12. The system of claim 8 , wherein

the communication interface is configured to receive friend graph information pertaining to the first application for the user,

the memory is configured to store the friend graph information,

the communication interface is configured to receive an installation notification when the second application is installed for the user, and

the circuitry is configured to transmit second application information to a friend user included in the friend graph information upon the communication interface receiving the installation notification.

13. The system of claim 12 , wherein

the communication interface is configured to receive consent information indicating whether consent is provided for transmission of the second application information to the friend user, and

the circuitry is configured to transmit the second application information to the friend user upon the consent being provided in the consent information.

14. The system of claim 12 , wherein

the communication interface is configured to receive a second installation notification when the second application is installed for the friend user based on the second application information transmitted to the friend user, and

the circuitry is configured to cause provision of another digital benefit upon receiving the second installation notification.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing thereon computer program instructions causing a system to execute:
