Abstract

Methods and systems are disclosed that automate and institutionalize many aspects of the process of creating software. Embodiments automate aspects of pricing, software creation, and delivery using a manufacturing-styled approach to development that reuses existing code and other existing software design features.

Claims (36)

1. An integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system that connects a plurality of custom software development processes together comprising:

a computer configured to:

query against an existing feature code library to determine new code requirement for a new custom software application for a customer,

implement a project builder that generates a new project with code components from an existing feature code library and projected new code components and passes the new project to a team selector process that assigns a development team to generate new code components,

implement a project management tool that implements project scheduling and software development management,

implement a customer relationship management platform that is configured to interact with the project management tool using automated chatbot and alerts, and

automatically select reusable code components from the generated new code components using a reusability bot and update the exiting feature code library with the reusable code components.

2. The integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system of claim 1 wherein the-integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system is configured to perform a project development process comprising managing project delivery using automated actions interacting with the customer and the development team.

3. The integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system of claim 1 wherein the-integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system implements a plurality of bots comprising software applications that run automated scripts over the Internet that automate software development.

4. The integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system of claim 1 wherein the-integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system is configured to include a project management tool that is configured to machine-assist project scheduling for development of the custom application and implement a software development management process.

5. The computer of claim 1 wherein the integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system is configured to assign source code from a code library to a new project repository and triggers code transfer to the new project repository.

6. The integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system of claim 1 wherein the computer is configured to match a timing requirement for creating the desired custom software application to an availability of a team member.

7. The integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system of claim 1 wherein the computer implements a plurality of bots comprising software applications that run automated scripts over the Internet.

8. The integrated, machine-based architecture, software development system of claim 1 wherein the computer is configured to include a project management tool that is configured to perform machine-assisted project scheduling.

9. A computer configured to:

query against an existing feature code library to determine new code requirement for a new custom software application for a customer,

implement a project builder that generates a new project with code components from an existing feature code library and projected new code components and passes the new project to a team selector process that assigns a development team to generate new code components,

implement a project management tool that implements project scheduling and software development management,

implement a customer relationship management platform that is configured to interact with the project management tool using automated chatbot and alerts, and

automatically communicate with the customer and development team, and

automatically select reusable code components from the generated new code components using a reusability bot and update the exiting feature code library with the reusable code components.

10. The computer of claim 9 wherein the computer is configured to include an event manger as part of a customer relationship management platform and is configured to pass event IDs to appropriate subsystems.

11. The computer of claim 10 wherein the customer relationship management platform includes a chatbot that is configured to send messages to the customer based on event ID and parses inbound messaging into the event manager.

12. The computer of claim 11 wherein the customer relationship management platform includes a content management system that pulls content from the code library and sends the content to the customer based on event IDs.

13. The computer of claim 9 wherein the computer is configured to perform a project development process comprising managing project delivery using automated actions interacting with the customer and the development team.

14. The computer of claim 13 herein the computer is configured to include a project management tool that is configured to machine-assist project scheduling for development of the custom application and implement a software development management process.

15. A computer configured to:

query against an existing feature code library to determine new code requirement for a new custom software application for a customer,

implement a project builder that generates a new project with code components from an existing feature code library and projected new code components and passes the new project to a team selector process that assigns a development team to generate new code components,

implement a project management tool that implements project scheduling and software development management,

implement a customer relationship management platform that is configured to interact with the project management tool using automated chatbot and alerts,

automatically communicate with the customer and development team,

include an event manger as part of a customer relationship management system and is configured to pass event IDs to appropriate subsystems, and

automatically select reusable code components from the generated new code components using a reusability bot and update the exiting feature code library with the reusable code components.

16. The computer of claim 15 wherein the computer is configured to allow the customer to interact with interfaces comprising webpages to design a custom software application by being configured to display an interactive web page that presents a group of different types of software applications to select from to be the base for the desired custom application.

17. The computer of claim 16 wherein the computer is configured to display a group of different types of software applications comprising a social and photo centric type, a crowd sourced content type, leveraging simple device capabilities type, or location based type.
