Abstract

Briefly, example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture are disclosed that may be implemented, in whole or in part, using one or more computing devices to facilitate and/or support one or more operations and/or techniques for an identity verification platform, such as implemented, at least in part, via one or more electronic communication networks.

Claims (56)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by an identity verification platform, a first set of parameters from a verifying system, wherein the first set of parameters is encrypted;

storing, by the identity verification platform, a second set of parameters in a volatile memory, wherein the second set of parameters is a decryption of the first set of parameters;

receiving, by the identity verification platform, a third set of parameters from a data source;

generating, by the identity verification platform, a first identity verification based, at least in part, on a comparison of the second set of parameters and the third set of parameters;

creating, by the identity verification platform, a second identity verification, wherein the second identity verification is an encryption of the first identity verification;

transmitting, by the identity verification platform, the second identity verification to the verifying system, wherein:

the second set of parameters, the third set of parameters, and the first identity verification each are sensitive content, and

the verifying system is never exposed to any sensitive content.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the first identity verification is further based at least in part on at least one of one or more match indicators, one or more attributes, one or more trust scores, or one or more behavior indicators, or any combination thereof.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

storing, via the identity verification platform, the sensitive content in the volatile memory.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein:

the receiving the third set of parameters from the data source comprises accessing current and/or historical records relevant to a communications device subscriber; and

the generating the first identity verification comprises associating the communications device subscriber via an electronic identifier or alias assigned to the communications device subscriber.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the sensitive content comprises personally identifiable information (PII) capable of identifying a communications device subscriber.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the first identity verification is implemented, at least in part, without prompting a communications device subscriber to enter one or more user credentials into a user interface of a communications device for accessing and/or using an on-line account associated with the verifying system.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the generating the first identity verification further comprises:

determining one or more aspects of on-line behavior of a communications device subscriber.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the verifying system comprises a financial institution, a provider of premium content, or a healthcare organization.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one of the data source and the verifying system comprises an unauthorized party.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one of the data source and the verifying system corresponds to a telecommunication services carrier.

11. An apparatus comprising:

a processor of an identity verification platform coupled to at least one memory device of the identity verification platform to:

receive, by the identity verification platform, a first set of parameters from a verifying system, wherein the first set of parameters is encrypted;

store a second set of parameters in a volatile memory of the at least one memory device of the identity verification platform, wherein the second set of parameters is a decryption of the first set of parameters;

receive, by the identity verification platform, a third set of parameters from a data source;

generate, at least in part via the processor of the identity verification platform, a first identity verification based, at least in part, on a comparison of the second set of parameters and the third set of parameters;

create, at least in part via the processor of the identity verification platform, a second identity verification, wherein the second identity verification is an encryption of the first identity verification;

transmit, by the identity verification platform, the second identity verification to the verifying system, wherein:

the second set of parameters, the third set of parameters, and the first identity verification each are sensitive content, and

the verifying system is never exposed to any sensitive content.

12. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the processor generate the first identity verification based at least in part on at least one of one or more match indicators, one or more attributes, one or more trust scores, or one or more behavior indicators, or any combination thereof.

13. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the processor coupled to the at least one memory device is additionally to:

store the sensitive content in the volatile memory of the at least one memory device.

14. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the processor coupled to the at least one memory device is additionally to:

access current and/or historical records relevant to a communications device subscriber; and

associate the communications device subscriber via an electronic identifier or alias assigned to the communications device subscriber.

15. The apparatus of claim 11 , wherein the processor coupled to the at least one memory device is additionally to:

determine one or more aspects of online behavior of a communications device subscriber.

16. An article comprising:

a non-transitory storage medium having instructions stored thereon executable by a special-purpose computing platform of an identity verification platform to:

receive a first set of parameters from a verifying system, wherein the first set of parameters is encrypted;

store a second set of parameters in a volatile memory, wherein the second set of parameters is a decryption of the first set of parameters;

receive a third set of parameters from a data source;

generate a first identity verification based, at least in part, on a comparison of the second set of parameters and the third set of parameters;

create a second identity verification, wherein the second identity verification is an encryption of the first identity verification;

transmit the second identity verification to the verifying system, wherein:

the second set of parameters, the third set of parameters, and the first identity verification each are sensitive content, and

the verifying system is never exposed to any sensitive content.

17. The article of claim 16 , wherein the at least one of the data source and the verifying system comprises an unauthorized party.

18. The article of claim 16 , wherein the at least one of the data source and the verifying system corresponds to a telecommunication services carrier.

19. The article of claim 16 , wherein the stored instructions are executable by the special purpose computing platform to generate the first identity verification based at least in part on at least one of one or more match indicators, one or more attributes, one or more trust scores, or one or more behavior indicators, or any combination thereof.

20. The article of claim 16 , wherein the stored instructions are additionally executable by the special purpose computing platform to:

access current and/or historical records relevant to a communications device subscriber; and to

associate the communications device subscriber via an electronic identifier or alias assigned to the communications device subscriber.
