Abstract

A sulfide solid electrolyte contains a compound that has a crystal phase having an argyrodite-type crystal structure and that is represented by Li a PS b X c , where X is at least one elemental halogen, a represents a number of 3.0 or more and 6.0 or less, b represents a number of 3.5 or more and 4.8 or less, and c represents a number of 0.1 or more and 3.0 or less. The sulfide solid electrolyte has a ratio of A Li /(A Li +A P +A S +A X ) to a specific surface area (m 2 g −1 ) of 3.40 (m −2 g) or more, where A Li represents the amount of lithium (atom %) quantitatively determined from the Li 1s peak, A P represents the amount of phosphorus (atom %) quantitatively determined from the P 2p peak, A S represents the amount of sulfur (atom %) quantitatively determined from the S 2p peak, and A X represents the amount of halogen (atom %) quantitatively determined from the halogen peak, the peaks being exhibited in X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

Claims (10)

1 . A sulfide solid electrolyte comprising:

a compound that comprises a crystal phase having an argyrodite-type crystal structure and that is represented by Li a PS b X c , where X is at least one elemental halogen, a represents a number of 3.0 or more and 6.0 or less, b represents a number of 3.5 or more and 4.8 or less, and c represents a number of 0.1 or more and 3.0 or less,

wherein the sulfide solid electrolyte has a ratio of A Li /(A Li +A P +A S +A X ) to a specific surface area (m 2 g −1 ) of 3.40 (m −2 g) or more, where Au represents the amount of lithium (atom %) quantitatively determined from a Li 1s peak, A P represents the amount of phosphorus (atom %) quantitatively determined from a P 2p peak, A S represents the amount of sulfur (atom %) quantitatively determined from a S 2p peak, and A X represents the amount of halogen (atom %) quantitatively determined from a halogen peak, the peaks being exhibited in X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).

2 . The sulfide solid electrolyte according to claim 1 ,

wherein the sulfide solid electrolyte has a specific surface area of 13.1 m 2 g −1 or less.

3 . An electrode material mixture comprising:

the sulfide solid electrolyte according to claim 1 ; and

an active material.

4 . A solid electrolyte layer comprising the sulfide solid electrolyte according to claim 1 .

5 . A solid-state battery comprising the sulfide solid electrolyte according to claim 1 .
