Abstract

Provided are a battery, a power consumption device, and a method and device for producing a battery. The battery includes: a plurality of battery cells arranged in a first direction, the battery cell including a first wall and a second wall, the first wall being a wall of the battery cell that has a largest surface area; a spacer plate, the spacer plate extending in the first direction and connected to the first wall of each battery cell of the plurality of battery cells; and a mounting wall, the mounting wall being connected to the second wall of each battery cell of the plurality of battery cells, where when the battery cell is disposed in a power consumption device, and the mounting wall is configured to mount the battery cell. Technical solutions of embodiments of the present application can improve performance of the battery.

Claims (26)

1 . A battery, comprising:

a plurality of battery cells arranged in a first direction, the battery cell comprising a first wall and a second wall, the first wall being a wall of the battery cell that has a largest surface area, and the second wall being connected to the first wall;

a spacer plate, the spacer plate extending in the first direction and connected to the first wall of each battery cell of the plurality of battery cells; and

a mounting wall, the mounting wall being connected to the second wall of each battery cell of the plurality of battery cells, wherein when the battery cell is disposed in a power consumption device, the battery cell is located below the mounting wall, and the mounting wall is configured to mount the battery cell.

2 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein a third wall of the battery cell is provided with an electrode terminal, the third wall and the second wall are separated and disposed opposite to each other in a second direction, and the second direction is perpendicular to the second wall; or

the third wall is connected to the second wall, and the first direction is perpendicular to the third wall.

3 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the spacer plate is a metal material plate.

4 . The battery according to claim 3 , wherein a surface of the spacer plate is provided with an insulating layer.

5 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the spacer plate is a non-metal material plate.

6 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein a first cavity is disposed inside the spacer plate, and the first cavity is configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust a temperature of the battery cell.

The battery according to claim 1 , wherein a size T 1 of the spacer plate in a third direction is 0.1 to 100 mm, and the size T 1 of the spacer plate in the third direction and a size T 2 of the battery cell in the third direction satisfy: 0<T 1 /T 2 ≤7, and the third direction is perpendicular to the first wall.

8 . The battery according to claim 7 , wherein 0<T 1 /T 2 ≤1.

9 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein a weight M 1 of the spacer plate and a weight M 2 of the battery cell satisfy: 0<M 1 /M 2 ≤20.

10 . The battery according to claim 9 , wherein 0.1≤M 1 /M 2 ≤1.

11 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein an area S 1 of a surface of the spacer plate that is connected to first walls of the plurality of battery cells and an area S 2 of the first wall satisfy: 0.2≤S 1 /S 2 ≤30.

12 . The battery according to claim 11 , wherein 2≤S 1 /S 2 ≤10.

13 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein a specific heat capacity Q of the spacer plate and a weight M 1 of the spacer plate satisfy: 0.02 KJ/(kg 2 /° C.)≤Q/M 1 ≤100 KJ/(kg 2 /° C.).

14 . The battery according to claim 13 , wherein 0.3 KJ/(kg 2 /° C.)≤Q/M 1 ≤20 KJ/(kg 2 /° C.).

15 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein a second cavity is disposed in an interior of the mounting wall, and the second cavity is configured to accommodate a fluid to adjust a temperature of the battery cell.

The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the battery further comprises a reinforcing rib, and the reinforcing rib is disposed on a surface of the mounting wall that is away from the battery cell in a second direction, and the reinforcing rib and the mounting wall are of an integrally formed structure, and the second direction is perpendicular to the second wall.

The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the battery comprises multiple columns of the plurality of battery cells arranged in the first direction and the plurality of spacer plates, wherein the multiple columns of the battery cells and the plurality of spacer plates are alternately disposed in a third direction, and the third direction is perpendicular to the first wall.

The battery according to claim 1 , wherein the battery comprises a plurality of battery modules, the battery module comprises at least one column of the plurality of battery cells arranged in the first direction and at least one spacer plate, and at least one column of the battery cells and at least one spacer plate are alternately disposed in a third direction; or

the battery module comprises N columns of the battery cells and N−1 spacer plate(s), the spacer plate is disposed between two adjacent columns of the battery cells, and N is an integer greater than 1;

wherein the plurality of battery modules are arranged in the third direction, and a gap is provided between adjacent battery modules, and the third direction is perpendicular to the first wall.

19 . The battery according to claim 1 , wherein an end portion of the spacer plate in the first direction is provided with a fixing structure, and the spacer plate is fixed to the mounting wall through the fixing structure.

20 . A power consumption device, comprising: the battery according to claim 1 , the battery being configured to provide electric energy.
