a control panel in communication with the outdoor camera;

wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is configured to:

process data from the outdoor camera;

detect a person within the zone based at least in part on the processed data from the outdoor camera;

select, using an artificial intelligence algorithm, a deterrence sound from a plurality of sounds based on one or more characteristics of the detected person, the artificial intelligence algorithm trained by processing of previous deterrence sound outputs to learn which of the previous deterrence sound outputs resulted in successful deterrence according to characteristics of detected persons and adapting the artificial intelligence algorithm; and

emit the selected deterrence sound from the speaker of the outdoor camera to deter the person in response to detecting the person.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the application is a mobile application comprising computer program code executing on a mobile computing device, the mobile application in communication with one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel.

3. The system of claim 2 , wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is further configured to alert a user, from the mobile application on the mobile computing device, of the detected person, the emitted sound, or a combination thereof.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein processing the data comprises artificial intelligence filtering of the data to identify one or more events, people including the person, scenarios, activities, or a combination thereof.

5. The system of claim 2 , wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is further configured to transmit an image, a video feed, or a combination thereof of the detected person from the data from the outdoor camera to the mobile computing device and the mobile application is configured to display the image, the video feed, or a combination thereof of the detected person to a user on an electronic display screen of the mobile computing device.

6. The system of claim 2 , wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is further configured to:

detect one or more of an animal and a vehicle based at least in part on the processed data from the outdoor camera; and

alert a user, from the mobile application on the mobile computing device, of the detected one or more of an animal and a vehicle.

7. The system of claim 2 , wherein the controller comprises one or more of the control panel and the mobile application on the mobile computing device.

8. The system of claim 7 , wherein the controller is further configured to:

determine a duration that the person is present within the monitored zone; and

determine that the duration satisfies a user defined threshold, wherein detecting the person is based at least in part on the duration that the person is present within the monitored zone satisfying the threshold.

9. The system of claim 1 , wherein the control panel is further configured to alert a user, from the control panel, of the detected person, the emitted sound, or a combination thereof.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the control panel is further configured to display an image, a video feed, or a combination thereof of the detected person from the data from the outdoor camera to a user on an electronic display screen of the control panel.

11. The system of claim 1 , wherein processing the data comprises artificial intelligence filtering of the data to identify one or more events, people including the person, scenarios, activities, or a combination thereof.

12. The system of claim 1 , wherein the sound comprises one or more of whistling, barking, growling, shouting, a gunshot, and an announcement for the person to leave.

13. The system of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is further configured to select variable sounds for emitting for different people based on the artificial intelligence processing of the previous sound outputs to learn which of the sound outputs result in successful deterrence.

14. The system of claim 1 , wherein the data from the outdoor camera comprises one or more of a video input, an image input, an audio input, or a combination thereof.

15. The system of claim 1 , wherein processing the data comprises:

analyzing a gait of the person, a physical behavior of the person, a clothing of the person, an object carried by the person, or any combination thereof; and

determining, based at least in part on the analyzing, a likelihood that the person is to perpetrate an event.

16. The system of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is further configured to:

identify a setting for the outdoor camera;

adjust the sound based at least in part on the identified setting; and

emit, at a second time, the adjusted sound.

17. The system of claim 1 , wherein detecting the person comprises identifying the person based at least in part on stored information, or biometric information, or both and the emitted sound is selected at least in part based on the identified person.

18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the sound comprises a command and an indication that the person has been identified.

19. The system of claim 17 , wherein one or more of the outdoor camera and the control panel is further configured to perform one or more security actions from a set of configured security actions based at least in part on the identified person.

20. A method, comprising:

defining a portion of a field of view of an outdoor camera as a zone based at least in part on input from a user via an application, wherein an area of the zone is less than a total area of the field of view;

processing data from the outdoor camera;

detecting a person within the zone based at least in part on the processed data from the outdoor camera;

selecting, using an artificial intelligence algorithm, a deterrence sound from a plurality of sounds based on one or more characteristics of the detected person, the artificial intelligence algorithm trained by processing of previous deterrence sound outputs to learn which of the previous deterrence sound outputs resulted in successful deterrence according to characteristics of detected persons and adapting the artificial intelligence algorithm; and

emitting the selected deterrence sound from a speaker of the outdoor camera to deter the person in response to detecting the person.

21. The method of claim 20 , wherein the application is a mobile application and further comprising alerting a user, from the mobile application executing on a mobile computing device, of the detected person, the emitted sound, or a combination thereof.

22. The method of claim 20 , further comprising displaying an image, a video feed, or a combination thereof of the detected person from the data from the outdoor camera to a user on an electronic display screen of a control panel in communication with the outdoor camera.

23. An apparatus, comprising:

an outdoor camera comprising a speaker;

a controller for the outdoor camera, the controller:

determining a portion of a field of view of the outdoor camera as a zone based on input from a user via an application, wherein an area of the zone is less than a total area of the field of view;

processing data from the outdoor camera;

detecting a person within the zone based at least in part on the processed data;

determining a duration that the person is present within the zone;

determining that the duration that the person is present within the zone satisfies a user defined threshold;

selecting, using an artificial intelligence algorithm, a deterrence sound from a plurality of sounds based on one or more characteristics of the detected person, the artificial intelligence algorithm trained by processing of previous deterrence sound outputs to learn which of the previous deterrence sound outputs resulted in successful deterrence according to characteristics of detected persons and adapting the artificial intelligence algorithm; and
