Resource retrieve procedure
A wireless device initializes a candidate resource set comprising a first resource for a sidelink transmission. The wireless device determines to not use the first resource for the sidelink transmission, based on: the first resource being excluded from the candidate resource set; and a reference signal received power (RSRP) of the first resource, based on a received sidelink control information (SCI) of the first resource, being higher than a RSRP threshold. The wireless device transmits the sidelink transmission, via a second resource in the candidate resource set, wherein the second resource does not comprise the first resource.
1. A method comprising:
initializing a candidate resource set,
wherein the candidate resource set comprises a first resource for a sidelink transmission;
determining not to use the first resource for the sidelink transmission, based on:
the first resource being excluded from the candidate resource set; and
a reference signal received power (RSRP) of the first resource being higher than a RSRP threshold,
wherein the RSRP of the first resource is determined based on a received sidelink control information (SCI) of the first resource; and
transmitting the sidelink transmission via a second resource in the candidate resource set,
wherein the second resource does not comprise the first resource;
wherein the first resource is excluded from the candidate resource set based on:
an offset of the first resource from a third resource by at least one reservation period; and
the third resource not being monitored in a sensing window.
2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the initializing of the candidate resource set is for sidelink pre-emption.
3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the candidate resource set comprises candidate resources in a selection window of a resource selection procedure based on the sidelink pre-emption.
4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the sensing window is of the resource selection procedure.
5. The method of claim 4 , further comprising receiving at least one configuration parameter indicating:
the sensing window of the resource selection procedure;
the selection window of the resource selection procedure; and the at least one reservation period for resource reservation.
6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the determining to not use the first resource for the sidelink transmission is based on a first priority level of the first resource indicated in the SCI being higher than a second priority level of the sidelink transmission.
7. The method of claim 6 , wherein a first priority value indicating the first priority level in the SCI is lower than a second priority value indicating the second priority level.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting, via the second resource, the sidelink transmission is based on a RSRP of the second resource being lower than the RSRP threshold.
9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising incrementing the RSRP threshold.
10. A wireless device comprising:
at least one processor;
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the wireless device to:
initialize a candidate resource set,
wherein the candidate resource set comprises a first resource for a sidelink transmission;
determine not to use the first resource for the sidelink transmission, based on:
the first resource being excluded from the candidate resource set; and
a reference signal received power (RSRP) of the first resource being larger than a RSRP threshold,
wherein the RSRP of the first resource is determined based on a received sidelink control information (SCI) of the first resource; and
transmit the sidelink transmission via a second resource in the candidate resource set, wherein the second resource does not comprise the first resource;
wherein the first resource is excluded from the candidate resource set based on:
an offset of the first resource from a third resource by at least one reservation period; and
the third resource not monitored in a sensing window.
11. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the candidate resource set is initialized for sidelink pre-emption.
12. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the candidate resource set comprises candidate resources in a selection window of a resource selection procedure based on the sidelink pre-emption.
13. The wireless device of claim 12 , wherein the sensing window is of the resource selection procedure.
14. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the wireless device to receive at least one configuration parameters indicating:
the sensing window of the resource selection procedure;
the selection window of the resource selection procedure; and
the at least one reservation period for resource reservation.
15. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the wireless device to determine to not use the first resource for the sidelink transmission based on a first priority level of the first resource indicated in the SCI being higher than a second priority level of the sidelink transmission.
16. The wireless device of claim 15 , wherein a first priority value indicating the first priority level in the SCI is lower than a second priority value indicating the second priority level.
17. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the wireless device to transmit, via the second resource, the sidelink transmission based on a RSRP of the second resource being lower than the RSRP threshold.
18. The wireless device of claim 10 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the wireless device to increment the RSRP threshold.
19. A computer program stored on a non-transitory medium, wherein the computer program when executed on a processor performs the method as claimed in claim 1 .
