Abstract

Disclosed is a server capable of improving convenience for a user at the time of service registration. The server includes a service providing unit which provides a service to an unregistered user who is not registered in the service when the unregistered user accesses the service, and a storage device which stores a service history provided to the unregistered user by the service providing unit. When the unregistered user is registered in the service, the service providing unit allows the unregistered user to use the service while taking over a service history used when the unregistered user is not registered in the service.

Claims (65)

1. A control method of a terminal configured to perform transmission of content to a first terminal on which a message application is installed and reception of content transmitted from the first terminal, the method comprising:

receiving first content transmitted from the first terminal;

transmitting second content to the first terminal;

displaying the first content and the second content on a display screen of the terminal using a different application than the message application;

installing the message application on the terminal based on input into the terminal from a user of the terminal;

transmitting third content to the first terminal using the installed message application, the third content being unable to be transmitted by the different application; and

causing the first content to be displayed using the different application, the second content displayed using the different application, and the third content, on the display screen using the message application.

2. The control method according to claim 1 , wherein:

the first content is received before the message application is installed on the terminal; and

the second content is transmitted before the message application is installed on the terminal.

3. The control method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving fourth content transmitted from the first terminal after the message application is installed on the terminal, the fourth content being different than the first content; and

displaying the first content, the second content, the third content, and the fourth content on the display screen using the message application.

4. The control method according to claim 3 , wherein:

the fourth content is transmitted from the first terminal to the terminal and a second terminal using the message application, the second terminal being different than the first terminal and the terminal.

5. The control method according to claim 4 , wherein:

the terminal, the first terminal, and the second terminal are as members of a group of the message application.

6. The control method according to claim 1 , wherein:

the first content and the second content are each a message; and

the third content is a stamp.

7. The control method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

displaying the first content and the second content using the different application based on input from the user of the terminal after the message application is installed on the terminal.

8. The control method according to claim 1 , further comprising:

displaying the first content displayed using the different application and the second content displayed using the different application on the display screen in chronological order using the message application.

9. The control method according to claim 1 , wherein:

the message application includes a function of transmitting a stamp; and

the different application does not include the function of transmitting the stamp.

10. The control method according to claim 1 , wherein:

the different application is configured to transmit and receive content on a one-to-one basis only; and

the message application is configured to transmit and receive content between the terminal, the first terminal, and a second terminal, the second terminal being different than the first terminal and the terminal.

11. A terminal comprising:

at least one processor configured to execute computer readable instructions to cause the terminal to,

receive first content transmitted from a first terminal,

transmit second content to the first terminal,

display the first content and the second content on a display screen using a different application than a message application installed on the first terminal,

install the message application on the terminal based on input into the terminal from a user of the terminal,

transmit third content to the first terminal using the installed message application, the third content being unable to be transmitted using the different application, and

cause the first content to be displayed using the different application, the second content displayed using the different application, and the third content, on the display screen using the message application.

12. A non-transitory computer readable medium including computer readable instructions, which when executed by a terminal, causes the terminal to:

receive first content transmitted from a first terminal;

transmit second content to the first terminal;

display the first content and the second content on a display screen of the terminal using a different application than a message application installed on the first terminal;

install the message application on the terminal based on input into the terminal from a user of the terminal;

transmit third content to the first terminal using the installed message application, the third content being unable to be transmitted by the different application; and

display the first content displayed using the different application, the second content displayed using the different application, and the third content on the display screen using the message application.

13. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein:

the first content is received before the message application is installed on the terminal; and

the second content is transmitted before the message application is installed on the terminal.

14. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein the terminal is further caused to:

receive fourth content transmitted from the first terminal after the message application is installed on the terminal, the fourth content being different than the first content; and

display the first content, the second content, the third content, and the fourth content on the display screen using the message application.

15. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 14 , wherein:

the fourth content is transmitted from the first terminal to the terminal and a second terminal using the message application, the second terminal being different than the first terminal and the terminal.

16. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 15 , wherein:

the terminal, the first terminal, and the second terminal are included as members of a group of the message application.

17. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein:

the first content and the second content are each a message; and

the third content is a stamp.

18. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein the terminal is further caused to:

display the first content and the second content using the different application based on input from the user of the terminal after the message application is installed on the terminal.

19. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein the terminal is further caused to:

display the first content displayed using the different application and the second content displayed using the different application on the display screen in chronological order using the message application.

20. The non-transitory computer readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein:

the message application includes a function of transmitting a stamp; and

the different application does not include the function of transmitting the stamp.
