Abstract

A node that is part of a network of nodes with access to a distributed ledger may receive a transaction request to perform one or more operations associated with the distributed ledger, wherein the one or more operations include causing a record of a transaction to be stored using the distributed ledger. The node may determine, based on credential information associated with the transaction request, whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed. The node may perform the one or more operations based on determining to allow the one or more operations to be performed. The one or more operations may include adding the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger. At least a subset of the content may be included in the record. The node may cause one or more other nodes, of the network of nodes, to have access to the distributed ledger.

Claims (91)

1 . A method for managing content pertaining to healthcare in a distributed ledger, the method comprising:

receiving, by a node that is part of a network of nodes with access to the distributed ledger, a transaction request to perform one or more operations associated with the distributed ledger,

wherein performing the one or more operations includes causing a record of a transaction to be stored using the distributed ledger;

determining, by the node and based on credential information associated with the transaction request, whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed;

performing, by the node, the one or more operations based on determining to allow the one or more operations to be performed,

wherein the one or more operations include adding the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger, and

wherein at least a subset of the content is included in the record; and

causing, by the node, one or more other nodes, of the network of nodes, to have access to the distributed ledger that includes the record.

The method of claim 1 , wherein the content is a care plan of a medical professional or an updated care plan of the medical professional; and wherein at least a portion of the care plan or the updated care plan is generated by the node based on a machine-learning-driven analysis of a knowledge graph and a patient graph.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein determining whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed comprises:

determining, using an incentives function of a smart contract and information included in the transaction request, whether a quantity of electronic currency associated with a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted satisfies a threshold quantity of electronic currency needed to perform the one or more operations, and

determining whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed based on determining whether the quantity of electronic currency associated with the user satisfies the threshold quantity of electronic currency.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the distributed ledger is implemented by a blockchain.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein at least the subset of the content included in the record is a first subset of the content pertaining to healthcare; wherein a distributed file system that is accessible to the network of nodes is used to store a second subset of the content; and

wherein performing the one or more operations comprises:

identifying an encrypted identifier associated with a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted,

adding the second subset of the content pertaining to healthcare to the distributed file system,

generating the record of the transaction that includes the first subset of content, and

adding the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transaction request indicates to store content using the distributed ledger; and

wherein performing the one or more operations comprises:

generating the record to include the content, wherein the content is a care plan of a medical professional or an updated care plan of the medical professional, and

adding the record to the distributed ledger.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transaction request is to view content that has been stored using the distributed ledger; and

wherein performing the one or more operations comprises:

generating the record to indicate that a user that submitted the transaction request has been approved to view the content,

adding the record to the distributed ledger, and

causing the content to be displayed on a device associated with the user that submitted the transaction request.

8 . A node that is part of a network of nodes in a distributed ledger, comprising:

one or more processors; and

one or more memories including instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

receive a transaction request to perform one or more operations associated with the distributed ledger,

wherein performing the one or more operations includes causing a record of a transaction to be stored using the distributed ledger;

determine, based on credential information associated with the transaction request, whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed;

perform the one or more operations based on determining to allow the one or more operations to be performed,

wherein the one or more operations include adding the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger, and

wherein at least a subset of content pertaining to healthcare is included in the record; and

cause one or more other nodes, of the network of nodes, to have access to the distributed ledger that includes the record.

9 . The node of claim 8 , wherein the content is a care plan of a medical professional or an updated care plan of the medical professional; and

wherein the one or more processors are further to:

generate at least a portion of the care plan or the updated care plan based on a machine-learning-driven analysis of a knowledge graph and a patient graph.

10 . The node of claim 8 , wherein the one or more processors, when determining whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed, are to:

determine, using an incentives function of a smart contract and information included in the transaction request, whether a quantity of electronic currency associated with a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted satisfies a threshold quantity of electronic currency needed to perform the one or more operations, and

determine whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed based on determining whether the quantity of electronic currency associated with the user satisfies the threshold quantity of electronic currency.

11 . The node of claim 8 , wherein the distributed ledger is implemented by a blockchain.

12 . The node of claim 8 , wherein at least the subset of the content included in the record is a first subset of the content pertaining to healthcare; wherein a distributed file system that is accessible to the network of nodes is used to store a second subset of the content; and

wherein the one or more processors, when performing the one or more operations, are to:

identify an encrypted identifier associated with a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted,

add the second subset of the content pertaining to healthcare to the distributed file system,

generate the record of the transaction that includes the first subset of content, and

add the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger.

13 . The node of claim 8 , wherein the transaction request indicates to store content using the distributed ledger; and

wherein the one or more processors, when performing the one or more operations, are to:

generate the record to include the content, wherein the content is a care plan of a medical professional or an updated care plan of the medical professional, and

add the record to the distributed ledger.

14 . The node of claim 8 , wherein the transaction request is requesting a content recommendation; and

wherein the one or more processors, when performing the one or more operations, are to:

identify recommended content by using a ranking technique to process at least one of verification data or visibility data associated with a collection of content,

generate the record of the transaction to include the recommended content,

add the record to the distributed ledger, and

cause a user device associated with a user that submitted the transaction request to display the recommended content.

15 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, the instructions comprising:

one or more instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

receive a transaction request to perform one or more operations associated with the distributed ledger,

wherein performing the one or more operations include causing a record of a transaction to be stored using the distributed ledger;

determine, based on credential information associated with the transaction request, whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed;

perform the one or more operations based on determining to allow the one or more operations to be performed,

wherein the one or more operations include adding the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger, and

wherein at least a subset of content pertaining to healthcare is included in the record; and

cause one or more other nodes, of the network of nodes, to have access to the distributed ledger that includes the record.

16 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, that cause the one or more processors to determine whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed, cause the one or more processors to:

determine, using a credentials verification function of a smart contract, whether credential information of a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted matches or satisfies a threshold level of similarity with corresponding stored credential information associated with an authorized user, and

determine whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed based on determining whether the credential information matches or satisfies the threshold level of similarity with the corresponding stored credential information.

17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the one or more instructions, that cause the one or more processors to determine whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed, cause the one or more processors to:

determine, using an incentives function of a smart contract and information included in the transaction request, whether a quantity of electronic currency associated with a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted satisfies a threshold quantity of electronic currency needed to perform the one or more operations, and

determine whether to allow the one or more operations to be performed based on determining whether the quantity of electronic currency associated with the user satisfies the threshold quantity of electronic currency.

18 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the distributed ledger is implemented by a blockchain.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein at least the subset of the content included in the record is a first subset of the content pertaining to healthcare; wherein a distributed file system that is accessible to the network of nodes is used to store a second subset of the content; and

wherein the one or more instructions, that cause the one or more processors to perform the one or more operations, cause the one or more processors to:

identify an encrypted identifier associated with a user that caused the transaction request to be submitted,

add the second subset of the content pertaining to healthcare to the distributed file system,

generate the record of the transaction that includes the first subset of content, and

add the record of the transaction to the distributed ledger.

20 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the transaction request is requesting a level of trustworthiness of the content;

wherein the one or more instructions, that cause the one or more processors to perform the one or more operations, cause the one or more processors to:

determine a level of trustworthiness of the content based on at least one of:

verification data indicating that the content has been verified, or

visibility data indicating a number of times other users have viewed the content,

generate the record of the transaction to include the determined level of trustworthiness,

add the record to the distributed ledger, and

cause a user device associated with a user that submitted the transaction request to display a representation of the level of trustworthiness of the content.
