Abstract

A percussive therapy system that includes a percussive massage device including a network interface, and an intelligence engine. The intelligence engine is configured to receive manual capture data and real-time tracking data from the percussive massage device, receive remote data from a remote data source, and generate recommendation data comprising a recommended protocol to be performed by the percussive massage device. The recommendation data is generated from demographic, activity, temporal, analytics, and biometric data, received from the manual capture data, the real-time tracking data, and the remote data inputs.

Claims (30)

1 . An intelligence engine, comprising:

a computing system in network communication with a plurality of user associated devices, wherein:

the intelligence engine is configured to receive user data from the plurality of user associated devices and generate recommendation data for individual users from the user data;

the recommendation data for each individual user among the individual users comprises a recommended protocol to be performed by the individual user, the recommended protocol being selected by the intelligence engine from among multiple known protocols;

the user data comprises outcomes from protocols previously recommended by the intelligence engine; and

the intelligence engine is configured discover associations between behaviors and outcomes and to modify the known protocols to optimize the known protocols for eliciting desired user outcomes.

2 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , wherein the user data comprises demographic data of the individual users.

3 . The intelligence engine of claim 2 , being configured to aggregate the demographic data within segmented populations and to discover at least some of the associations between behaviors and outcomes from the aggregated demographic data.

4 . The intelligence engine of claim 2 , being configured to aggregate the demographic data within segmented populations and, for each individual user among the individual users, to generate the recommendation data at least partially by prioritizing protocols among the multiple known protocols for recommendation to the individual user from demographic data associated with the individual user.

5 . The intelligence engine of claim 2 , wherein the demographic data includes user activity levels.

6 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , wherein the user associated devices include wearable biometric devices.

7 . The intelligence engine of claim 6 , wherein the multiple known protocols include a protocol for using a percussive massage device.

8 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , wherein the user associated devices include percussive massage devices.

9 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , wherein the intelligence engine is configured to communicate the recommendation data for each individual user among the individual users to a respective percussive massage device.

10 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , configured to optimize the known protocols for eliciting desired user outcomes by assigning behavior scores to the outcomes from protocols previously recommended by the intelligence engine and modifying the previously recommended protocols in a manner expected to lead to different behavior scores in view of the discovered associations.

11 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , wherein the desired user outcomes include a biometric falling within a predetermined range.

12 . The intelligence engine of claim 11 , wherein the biometric is heart rate.

13 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , configured to generate a unique routine for a particular user among the individual users.

14 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , configured to modify the known protocols to optimize the known protocols for eliciting desired user outcomes by changing steps within the known protocols.

15 . An intelligence engine comprising:

a computing system in network communication with a plurality of user associated devices associated with respective users within a plurality of users, wherein:

the intelligence engine is configured to receive user data from the plurality of devices and generate recommendation data for individual users from the user data;

the recommendation data for each individual user among the plurality of users comprises a recommended protocol to be performed by the individual user, the recommended protocol being selected by the intelligence engine from among multiple known protocols;

the user data comprises measurements of biometric outcomes from protocols previously recommended by the intelligence engine; and

the intelligence engine is configured to modify the known protocols to optimize the known protocols for inducing an intended physiological state.

16 . The intelligence engine of claim 1 , wherein the intended physiological state is a biometric falling within a predetermined range.

17 . The intelligence engine of claim 16 , wherein the biometric is heart rate.

18 . The intelligence engine of claim 15 , wherein the intelligence engine is configured to modify the known protocols to optimize the known protocols for inducing the intended physiological state by changing steps within the known protocols.

19 . The intelligence ending of claim 15 , wherein the user associated devices are wearable biometric devices.

20 . The intelligence engine of claim 19 , wherein the known protocols are series of steps to be performed with a percussive massage device.
