Abstract

Decentralized computer systems and methods are disclosed for hyperledger-based payment transactions, alerts, and dispute settlement, using smart contracts. One method includes: receiving transaction information comprising transaction data of transaction attributes for a transaction for a good or service originating at a merchant; storing the transaction data of the transaction attributes for the transaction, in a smart contract generated or updated by a smart contract application; deploying the Smart contract into one or more blockchain networks, wherein at least one of the one or more blockchain networks; performing one or more iterations of enabling, using an inter ledger protocol, to transfer at least some of the transaction data of the transaction attributes of the transaction to another of the one or more blockchain networks, wherein each of the one or more blockchain networks serves one or more business functions of the transaction.

Claims (47)

1. A computer-implemented method of hyperledger-based payment transactions, alerts, and dispute settlement, using smart contracts, the method comprising:

receiving dispute information associated with at least one attribute associated with an electronic transaction involving goods or a service, wherein the dispute information is received as a speech-based input and/or a text-based input;

translating, by a translator application program interface (API), the speech-based input and/or the text-based input into a system command, wherein the translator API is an artificial intelligence (A) based application that detects user information and predicts requirements of one or more users;

encrypting the translated dispute information;

generating a blockchain entry locked with a crypto private key in a shared ledger, wherein the blockchain entry comprises encrypted dispute information, a timestamp, and a link to a previous blockchain entry;

conducting, on ledgers associated with the one or more blockchain networks, a search for transaction amounts in other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction;

receiving, subsequent to the conducting, the transaction amounts in the other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction;

generating a user interface including blockchain analytics including an identifier of the electronic transaction, an identifier of a block in which transaction information associated with the electronic transaction is stored, a summary of the electronic transaction, and the transaction amounts in the other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction; and

transmitting the user interface to a computing system for display via the computing system.

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one attribute corresponds to one or more of: a merchant and/or acquirer, an issuer and/or consumer, an identification of the goods and/or the service, a transaction amount for the goods and/or the service, and a geographical location associated with a transaction for the goods and/or the service.

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the dispute information comprises an identification of one or more of: the least one attribute, one or more disputants associated with the electronic transaction, a proposed modification to the at least one attribute, and a geographical location of a dispute.

4. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the conducting the search comprises examining distributed ledgers of other blockchain networks in addition to the one or more blockchain networks.

The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising: generating, upon analysis of the transaction information associated with each of the one or more other transactions using the computing system, a fraud determination report for the at least one attribute, wherein the fraud determination report comprises one or more indications of trends associated with the at least one attribute across the one or more other transactions.

6. The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , further comprising; halting a transaction based on a determination of fraud associated with the at least one attribute in the fraud determination report.

The computer-implemented method of claim 5 , further comprising: presenting the fraud determination report to a user via an interactive user interface; leveraging the AI based application associated with the interactive user interface to identify information associated with the user; predicting, based on the leveraging, one or more aspects of the fraud determination report of interest to the user; and dynamically directing, based on the predicting the user to the one or more aspects.

8. A system for hyperledger-based payment transactions, alerts, and dispute settlement, using smart contracts, the system comprising:

a data storage device storing instructions for the hyperledger-based payment transactions, alerts, and dispute settlement, using the smart contracts;

a user interface for each of one or more participants of the transaction; and

one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform a method including:

receiving dispute information associated with at least one attribute associated with an electronic transaction involving goods or a service, wherein the dispute information is received as a speech-based input and/or a text-based input;

translating, by a translator application program interface (API), the speech-based input and/or the text-based input into a system command, wherein the translator API is an artificial intelligence (A) based application that detects user information and predicts requirements of one or more users;

encrypting the translated dispute information;

generating a blockchain entry locked with a crypto private key in a shared ledger, wherein the blockchain entry comprises encrypted dispute information, a timestamp, and a link to a previous blockchain entry;

conducting, on ledgers associated with the one or more blockchain networks, a search for transaction amounts in other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction;

receiving, subsequent to the conducting, the transaction amounts in the other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction;

generating a user interface including blockchain analytics including an identifier of the electronic transaction, an identifier of a block in which transaction information associated with the electronic transaction is stored, a summary of the electronic transaction, and the transaction amounts in the other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction; and

transmitting the user interface to a computing system for display via the computing system.

The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one attribute corresponds to one or more of: a merchant and/or acquirer, an issuer and/or consumer, an identification of the goods and/or the service, a transaction amount for the goods and/or the service, and a geographical location associated with a transaction for the goods and/or the service.

10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the dispute information comprises an identification of one or more of: the least one attribute, one or more disputants associated with the electronic transaction, a proposed modification to the at least one attribute, and a geographical location of a dispute.

11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the conducting the search comprises examining distributed ledgers of other blockchain networks in addition to the one or more blockchain networks.

12. The system of claim 8 , further comprising:

generating, upon analysis of the transaction information associated with each of the one or more other transactions using the computing system, a fraud determination report for the at least one attribute, wherein the fraud determination report comprises one or more indications of trends associated with the at least one attribute across the one or more other transactions.

13. The system of claim 12 , further comprising: halting a transaction based on a determination of fraud associated with the at least one attribute in the fraud determination report.

14. The system of claim 12 , further comprising: presenting the fraud determination report to a user via an interactive user interface; leveraging the AI based application associated with the interactive user interface to identify information associated with the user; predicting, based on the leveraging, one or more aspects of the fraud determination report of interest to the user; and dynamically directing, based on the predicting the user to the one or more aspects.

15. A non-transitory machine readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a server, causes the server to perform a method for hyperledger-based payment transactions, alerts, and dispute settlement, using smart contracts the method including:

receiving dispute information associated with at least one attribute associated with an electronic transaction involving goods or a service, wherein the dispute information is received as a speech-based input and/or a text-based input;

translating, by a translator application program interface (API), the speech-based input and/or the text-based input into a system command, wherein the translator API is an artificial intelligence (A) based application that detects user information and predicts requirements of one or more users;

encrypting the translated dispute information;

generating a blockchain entry locked with a crypto private key in a shared ledger, wherein the blockchain entry comprises encrypted dispute information, a timestamp, and a link to a previous blockchain entry;

conducting, on ledgers associated with the one or more blockchain networks, a search for transaction amounts in other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction;

receiving, subsequent to the conducting, the transaction amounts in the other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction;

generating a user interface including blockchain analytics including an identifier of the electronic transaction, an identifier of a block in which transaction information associated with the electronic transaction is stored, a summary of the electronic transaction, and the transaction amounts in the other transactions involving the goods or the service transacted for in the electronic transaction; and

transmitting the user interface to a computing system for display via the computing system.

The non-transitory machine readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the at least one attribute corresponds to one or more of: a merchant and/or acquirer, an issuer and/or consumer, an identification of the goods and/or the service, a transaction amount for the goods and/or the service, and a geographical location associated with a transaction for the goods and/or the service.

The non-transitory machine readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the dispute information comprises an identification of one or more of: the least one attribute, one or more disputants associated with the electronic transaction, a proposed modification to the at least one attribute, and a geographical location of a dispute.

The non-transitory machine readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising: generating, upon analysis of the transaction information associated with each of the one or more other transactions using the computing system, a fraud determination report for the at least one attribute, wherein the fraud determination report comprises one or more indications of trends associated with the at least one attribute across the one or more other transactions.

The non-transitory machine readable medium of claim 18 , further comprising: presenting the fraud determination report to a user via an interactive user interface; leveraging the AI based application associated with the interactive user interface to identify information associated with the user; predicting, based on the leveraging, one or more aspects of the fraud determination report of interest to the user; and dynamically directing, based on the predicting the user to the one or more aspects.
