Abstract

A system, method, device, and platform for managing content utilizing tokens from a data platform. Providing an incentive for a user to generate content. The content is received from the user. The content is tokenized into one or more tokens. The tokenized content is distributed. The tokenized content is monetized based on a smart contract.

Claims (44)

1 . A method for managing content utilizing tokens from a data platform, comprising:

providing an incentive for a user to generate content;

receiving the content from the user;

tokenizing the content into one or more tokens;

distributing the tokenized content; and

monetizing the tokenized content based on a smart contract.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more tokens are blockchain tokens, and wherein the one or more tokens and associated content are saved in a digital ledger.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining content includes receiving the content from a plurality of electronic sources associated with the data platform by the one or more corporations.

4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

valuing the content;

determining potential monetization strategies for the content; and

presenting the monetization strategies to the user.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the incentive is cryptocurrency.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the user uploads the content from one of a plurality of electronic devices executing an application that interfaces with the data platform.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the monetization strategies include at least selling the content and leasing the content.

8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

compensating the user based on terms negotiated between the user and a service provider operating the data platform in response to the creating a smart contract controlling utilization of the content.

9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

generating each of the one or more tokens associated with the content.

10 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

advertising the content to authorized parties; and

performing transactions for the one or more tokens associated with the content.

11 . A system for managing content, comprising:

a plurality of electronic devices executing a data application, the data application is configured to capture the user data associated with a user; and

a data platform accessible by the plurality of electronic devices executing the data application through one or more networks, wherein the data platform provides an incentive for a user to generate content, receives the content from the user, tokenizes the content into one or more tokens, distributes the tokenized content, and monetizes the tokenized content based on a smart contract.

12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the data platform values the content, determines potential monetization strategies for the content, presents the monetization strategies to the user, and performs transactions for the content.

13 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the one or more tokens are blockchain tokens, and wherein the one or more tokens and associated content are saved in a digital ledger.

14 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the incentive is cryptocurrency, and wherein the user is compensated for the tokenized content utilizing the cryptocurrency.

15 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the

16 . A data platform, comprising:

a processor for executing a set of instructions;

a memory for storing the set of instructions, wherein the set of instructions are executed to:

provide an incentive for a user to generate content;

receive the content from the user;

tokenize the content into one or more tokens;

distribute the tokenized content; and

monetize the tokenized content based on a smart contract.

17 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the set of instructions are further executed to:

value the content, determine potential monetization strategies for the content, present the monetization strategies to the user, and perform transactions for the content.

18 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the one or more tokens are blockchain tokens, and wherein the one or more tokens and associated content are saved in a digital ledger.

19 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the set of instructions generate each of the one or more tokens associated with the content, advertise the content to authorized parties, and perform transactions for the one or more tokens associated with the content.

20 . The data platform of claim 16 , wherein the set of instructions are further executed to:

advertise the content to authorized parties; and

perform transactions for the one or more tokens associated with the content.
