Abstract

The computer networks provided herein may facilitate the delivery of interactive data units to selective client nodes. A client node may be associated with, and/or be accessible by, a user. The interactive data units received at a client node may be activated by the user associated with the client node. In some instances, a computer network may facilitate delivery of an interactive data unit to a client node based on the user, and/or user information, associated with the client node.

Claims (28)

1. A method for delivering interactive data units to selective nodes in a computer network, comprising:

(a) receiving, at a server over the computer network, a plurality of interactive data units from one or more interactive data providers, wherein the plurality of interactive data units is activateable at client nodes, and wherein the plurality of interactive data units comprises a plurality of parameters;

(b) receiving user data, by the server, for each user of the plurality of users, wherein each of the plurality of users is associated with a client node, and wherein the user data comprises user-attribute data, wherein the user-attribute data comprises one or more members selected from the group consisting of user identifier information, user contact information, user demographic information, user preference information, loyalty membership information, and user previous transaction information;

(c) selecting, by the server, based at least in part on processing of the plurality of parameters defined by the one or more interactive data providers, at least one of the plurality of users to receive an interactive data unit of the plurality of interactive data units;

(d) delivering, by the server over the computer network, the interactive data unit to at least one client node associated with the selected users;

(e) generating, by the server, activation statistics associated with the interactive data unit; and

(f) adjusting, by the server, one or more of the plurality of parameters associated with the interactive data unit based at least in part on the activation statistics.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the users data further comprising item-level data received by the server from multiple sources comprising the client nodes of the plurality of users.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of parameters of the plurality of interactive data units comprises an activation parameter and applicable user attributes parameter.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein (c) further comprises: processing the applicable user attributes parameter against the user-attribute data in real time or near real-time.

5. The method of claim 3 , wherein (c) further comprises: processing the activation parameter against the item-level data in real time or near real-time.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the interactive data provider is a retailer, and wherein the interactive data unit is activateable in a form of retailer-specific currency, credit points, loyalty program points, or loyalty rewards.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising transmitting the user data received from a first interactive data provider to a second interactive data provider without granting access to an administrator agent.

8. The method of claim 2 , wherein the item-level data is obtained by the client node by scanning a physical form.

9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of interactive data units comprises rewards to be deposited to one or more accounts associated with the selected users.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the one or more accounts comprise loyalty program accounts associated with the selected users, wherein the loyalty program accounts are connected with one or more retailers.

11. The method of claim 9 , wherein the rewards comprise monetary rewards, retailer-specific currency, credit points, loyalty program points, and loyalty rewards.

12. The method of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the client nodes comprise mobile electronic devices.

13. A system for delivering interactive data units to selective nodes in a computer network, comprising:

a server configured to receive a plurality of interactive data units from one or more interactive data providers, wherein the plurality of interactive data units is activateable at client nodes, and wherein the plurality of interactive data units comprises a plurality of parameters;

a memory configured to receive user data, for each user of the plurality of users, wherein each of the plurality of users is associated with a client node, and wherein the user data comprises user-attribute data, wherein the user-attribute data comprises one or more members selected from the group consisting of user identifier information, user contact information, user demographic information, user preference information, loyalty membership information, and user previous transaction information;

one or more processors, individually or collectively, configured to select, based at least in part on processing of the plurality of parameters defined by the one or more interactive data providers, at least one of the plurality of users to receive an interactive data unit of the plurality of interactive data units, and

a network adaptor configured to (i) deliver the interactive data unit to at least one client node associated with the selected users, (ii) generate activation statistics associated with the interactive data unit, and (iii) adjust one or more of the plurality of parameters associated with the interactive data unit based at least in part on the activation statistics.

14. The system of claim 13 , wherein the users data further comprising item-level data received by the server from multiple sources comprising the client nodes of the plurality of users.

15. The system of claim 14 , wherein the plurality of parameters of the plurality of interactive data units comprises an activation parameter and applicable user attributes parameter.

16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the one or more processors, individually or collectively, further configured to process the applicable user attributes parameter against the user-attribute data in real time or near real-time.

17. The system of claim 15 , wherein the one or more processors, individually or collectively, further configured to process the activation parameter against the item-level data in real time or near real-time.

18. The system of claim 13 , wherein the interactive data provider is a retailer, and wherein the interactive data unit is activateable in a form of retailer-specific currency, credit points, loyalty program points, or loyalty rewards.
