Abstract

A system includes a mobile device having one or more cameras to take images; a sensor detecting reflected light from one or more lasers and a diffuser to detect object range or dimension; code for motion tracking, environmental understanding by detecting planes in an environment, and estimating light and dimensions of the surrounding based on the one or more lasers; code to estimate a three-dimensional (3D) volume of an object from multiple perspectives and from projected laser beams to measure size or scale and determine locations of points on the object's surface in a plane or a slice using time-of-flight, wherein positions and cross-sections for different slices are correlated to construct a 3D model of the object, including object position and shape; the device receiving user request to select a content from one or more augmented, virtual, or extended reality contents and rendering a reality view of the environment.

Claims (23)

1. A system, comprising:

a mobile device having one or more cameras to take images;

a sensor detecting reflected light from one or more lasers and a diffuser to detect object range or dimension;

code for detecting planes in an environment, and estimating light and dimensions of a surrounding based on the one or more lasers;

code to estimate a three-dimensional (3D) volume of the object from multiple perspectives and from projected laser beams to measure size or scale and determine locations of points on the object's surface in a plane or a slice, wherein positions and cross-sections for different slices are correlated to construct object position and shape;

the device receiving user request to select a content from one or more augmented, virtual, or extended reality contents and render a reality view of the environment.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the device displays content to cause biological generation of adrenaline in a person.

3. The system of claim 1 , comprising a tactile unit coupled to the user to arouse the user during a selected period.

4. The system of claim 3 , wherein the tactile unit causes a rush in the user.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the device displays the user as an avatar.

6. The system of claim 1 , comprising sensors to detect pain or discomfort.

7. The system of claim 1 , comprising one or more sensors, wherein one of the sensors comprises biofeedback sensor, electromyogram (EMG) sensor, electroencephalography (EEG) sensor, electrophysiological sensor, electrocorticography (ECoG) sensor, magnetoencephalography (MEG) sensor, positron emission tomography (PET) sensor, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) sensor, optical imaging sensor, functional Near InfraRed (fNIR) sensor.

8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the user is distracted by a display during a game, an operation, a treatment, a biological sampling, an irradiation process, or a body scan.

9. The system of claim 1 , comprising code to:

position the user in a targeted area;

sense biometric and physical conditions of the user, and

keep the user in a predetermined position with a game or video.

10. The system of claim 1 , wherein the mobile device shares images of a procedure with the user.

11. The system of claim 1 , comprising a sensor to track motion or capture biofeedback data.

12. The system of claim 1 , comprising a sensor to determine one of: total body water, compartmentalization of body fluids, cardiac monitoring, blood flow, skinfold thickness, dehydration, blood loss, wound monitoring, ulcer detection, deep vein thrombosis, hypovolemia, hemorrhage, blood loss.

13. The system of claim 1 , comprising code to perform gesture recognition, facial recognition and voice recognition.

14. The system of claim 1 , wherein a game provides a virtual world with an avatar for the user, wherein the avatar moves based on the user's head movement.

15. The system of claim 1 , comprising an augmented reality display device or a virtual reality display device.
