Abstract

A server includes drawing means for drawing an item by lottery from among an item group including a plurality of types of items with different scarcity values and providing the item to a user, and additional item providing means for providing an additional item to the user in accordance with a provision count of the number of times an item is provided by the drawing means.

Claims (37)

1. A device comprising:

circuitry configured to

store, in a memory, information on a plurality of items, the items including a plurality of item types having different scarcity values,

increase a value of a displayed indicator each time an item is provided from the plurality of items, and

when a predetermined condition is satisfied, provide an additional item selected by lottery from the plurality of items in accordance with a selection requirement.

2. The device according to claim 1 , wherein

the circuitry is further configured to store, in the memory, a count of a number of times any item of the plurality of items is provided.

3. The device according to claim 2 , wherein

the predetermined condition is satisfied when the count reaches a predetermined number.

4. The device according to claim 1 , wherein

the predetermined condition is satisfied when the indicator reaches a maximum value.

5. The device according to claim 1 , wherein

the additional item that is provided when the predetermined condition is satisfied has a higher scarcity value than other items of the plurality of items.

6. A method for controlling a device, the device including a memory and circuitry, the method comprising:

storing, in the memory, information on a plurality of items, the items including a plurality of item types having different scarcity values;

increasing a value of a displayed indicator each time an item is provided from the plurality of items; and

when a predetermined condition is satisfied, providing an additional item selected by lottery from the plurality of items in accordance with a selection requirement.

7. The method according to claim 6 , further comprising

storing, in the memory, a count of a number of times any item of the plurality of items is provided.

8. The method according to claim 7 , wherein

the predetermined condition is satisfied when the count reaches a predetermined number.

9. The method according to claim 6 , wherein

the predetermined condition is satisfied when the indicator reaches a maximum value.

10. The method according to claim 6 , wherein

the additional item that is provided when the predetermined condition is satisfied has a higher scarcity value than other items of the plurality of items.

11. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing thereon a program for a device including a memory and circuitry, the program causing the circuitry to execute a process comprising:

storing, in the memory, information on a plurality of items, the items including a plurality of item types having different scarcity values;

increasing a value of a displayed indicator each time an item is provided from the plurality of items; and

when a predetermined condition is satisfied, providing an additional item selected by lottery from the plurality of items in accordance with a selection requirement.

12. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 11 , wherein the process further comprises

storing, in the memory, a count of a number of times any item of the plurality of items is provided.

13. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 12 , wherein

the predetermined condition is satisfied when the count reaches a predetermined number.

14. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 11 , wherein

the predetermined condition is satisfied when the indicator reaches a maximum value.

15. The non-transitory computer-readable medium according to claim 11 , wherein

the additional item that is provided when the predetermined condition is satisfied has a higher scarcity value than other items of the plurality of items.
