Abstract

This application provides a secondary battery, including a positive electrode plate and an electrolytic solution. The positive electrode plate includes a positive current collector and a positive film layer. The positive film layer includes a positive lithium supplementing agent. The positive lithium supplementing agent is selected from Li x TO y , where x≥2, y≥2, and T is a transition metal. The electrolytic solution includes a sulfide, and a valence of sulfur element in the sulfide is less than or equal to +4. The secondary battery according to this application achieves a high energy density and a high first-cycle Coulombic efficiency, improves a solid electrolyte interphase after being chemically formed and fully charged, achieves a low internal resistance of a battery cell, and can normally exert the capacity of the secondary battery.
