Abstract

The present application provides a method, device and system for automatically fueling a vehicle. The method includes: determining fuel amount to be filled according to the information of vehicle status and the driving route of the vehicle; assigning a fueling device which conforms to a preset position rule to the vehicle according to the current position of the vehicle and the preset position rule; sending a feedback message carrying position information of the fueling device to the vehicle, so that the vehicle drives to the fueling device indicated by a position of the fueling device; and sending information of the fuel amount to be filled and the information of the identifier of the vehicle to the fueling device so that the fueling device offers fuel to the vehicle indicated by the identifier of the vehicle according to the information of the fuel amount to be filled.

Claims (45)

1. A method of fueling a vehicle, comprising:

receiving, by a computer located external to the vehicle, a current position of the vehicle and fuel consumption related information of the vehicle, wherein the vehicle is operating along a driving route;

determining a fuel amount to be filled according to the fuel consumption related information and information related to the driving route of the vehicle;

assigning a fueling device to the vehicle based on the current position of the vehicle; and

sending, to the vehicle, a message that includes position information of the fueling device to the vehicle, wherein the vehicle is caused to drive to the position information of the fueling device.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the fuel consumption related information includes an average fuel consumption and a current weight of the vehicle.

3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the fuel amount to be filled in the vehicle is determined based on the average fuel consumption, the current weight of the vehicle, and a length of the driving route.

4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the fuel amount to be filled in the vehicle is determined based on the average fuel consumption, the current weight of the vehicle, a length of the driving route, and a weather condition.

5. The method of claim 2 , wherein the fuel amount to be filled in the vehicle is determined based on the average fuel consumption, the current weight of the vehicle, a length of the driving route, and a roadway condition of the driving route, wherein the roadway condition includes roadway speed limit information, roadway traffic control information, roadway closure information, or roadway congestion information.

6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

determining actual fuel consumption after fueling of the vehicle by the fueling device;

comparing the fuel amount to be filled in the vehicle with the actual fuel consumption by the vehicle; and

updating, based on the comparing, a function relationship for determining the fuel amount to be filled.

7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

sending a request to obtain the information related to the driving route of the vehicle in response to determining that the current position of the vehicle is not included on a prestored driving route.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the receiving includes receiving an identifier of the vehicle, and wherein the method further comprises:

sending, to the fueling device, the identifier of the vehicle and the fuel amount to be filled, wherein the fueling device is caused to offer fuel to the vehicle indicated by the identifier according to the fuel amount to be filled.

9. A computer, comprising:

a processor and a memory, wherein the processor is configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to:

receive a current position of a vehicle and fuel consumption related information of the vehicle, wherein the vehicle is operating along a driving route, wherein the computer is located external to the vehicle;

determine a fuel amount to be filled according to the fuel consumption related information and information related to the driving route of the vehicle;

assign a fueling device to the vehicle based on the current position of the vehicle; and

send, to the vehicle, a message that includes position information of the fueling device to the vehicle, wherein the vehicle is caused to drive to the position information of the fueling device.

10. The computer of claim 9 , wherein the fueling device is assigned to the vehicle based on a rule that identifies the fueling device as being closest to the current position of the vehicle.

11. The computer of claim 9 , wherein the fueling device is assigned to the vehicle based on a rule that randomly identifies the fueling device as being within a preset distance of the current position of the vehicle.

12. The computer of claim 9 , wherein the fueling device is assigned to the vehicle based on a rule that identifies the fueling device as being associated with a pre-determined operator and that is closest to the current position of the vehicle.

13. A method of fueling a vehicle, comprising:

sending, by a first computer located in the vehicle to a second computer located external to the vehicle, a current position of the vehicle and fuel consumption related information of the vehicle, wherein the vehicle is operating along a driving route;

receiving a message comprising position information of a fueling device where the vehicle is to drive to obtain a fuel amount to be filled, wherein the fuel amount to be filled is based on the fuel consumption related information and information related to the driving route of the vehicle; and

causing the vehicle to drive to the fueling device indicated by the position information of the fueling device.

14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the sending the fuel consumption related information of the vehicle is performed in response to determining by the first computer that the vehicle needs to be filled with fuel.

15. The method of claim 13 , further comprising:

receiving, by the first computer from the second computer, a request for obtaining the information related to the driving route; and

sending a prompt to obtain the information related to the driving route;

receiving the information related to the driving route; and

sending to the second computer the information related to the driving route.

16. A first computer located in a vehicle, comprising:

a processor and a memory, wherein the processor is configured to execute instructions stored in the memory to:

send, by the first computer located in the vehicle to a second computer located external to the vehicle, a current position of the vehicle and fuel consumption related information of the vehicle, wherein the vehicle is operating along a driving route;

receive a message comprising position information of a fueling device where the vehicle is to drive to obtain a fuel amount to be filled, wherein the fuel amount to be filled is based on the fuel consumption related information and information related to the driving route of the vehicle; and

cause the vehicle to drive to the fueling device indicated by the position information of the fueling device.

17. The first computer of claim 16 , wherein the fuel consumption related information includes an average fuel consumption, a current weight of the vehicle, and a current fuel amount in the vehicle.

18. The first computer of claim 16 , wherein the fueling device is closest to the current position of the vehicle.

19. The first computer of claim 16 , wherein the fueling device is within a preset distance of the current position of the vehicle.

20. The first computer of claim 16 , wherein the fueling device is associated with a pre-determined operator and is closest to the current position of the vehicle.
