Abstract

Systems, devices, and methods including: a first layer; a second layer; a pocket formed between the first layer and the second layer to receive a fingertip of a user; and an elastic layer disposed over a portion of the first layer or the second layer to secure the fingertip of the user.

Claims (37)

1 . A method of applying powder, the method comprising:

securing one or more fingers of a user to a makeup tool via an elastic layer disposed over a portion of the makeup tool;

applying powder to skin using the makeup tool, wherein the makeup tool is folium shaped having a narrow tip end; and

contacting, using a point of contact, the skin of a face without smudging and removing makeup on the face, wherein the point of contact is via the narrow tip end of the folium shaped makeup tool, thereby making contact with precision in hard to reach areas.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

providing the makeup tool, wherein the makeup tool is double-sided and comprises a first layer and a second layer, and wherein the first layer is joined to the second layer.

4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:

bouncing the first layer of the makeup tool across the skin.

5 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising:

reversing the elastic layer to a side not being used against the skin to provide maximum surface area for a side being used and full grip of the makeup tool.

6 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:

rotating the makeup tool so that the first layer is facing away from the skin and the second layer is contacting the skin.

7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein reversing the elastic layer switches between covering a portion of the first layer and covering a portion of the second layer.

8 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:

providing full use of the first layer when the portion of the second layer is covered by the elastic layer.

9 . The method of claim 2 , further comprising:

providing full use of the second layer when the portion of the first layer is covered by the elastic layer.

10 . The method of claim 2 , wherein at least one of the first layer and the second layer comprises at least one of: a woven fabric and a knitted fabric to provide a plush surface.

11 . A method of applying powder, the method comprising:

providing a makeup tool, wherein the makeup tool is folium shaped having a narrow tip end;

securing one or more fingers of a user to the makeup tool via a finger band disposed over a portion of the makeup tool; and

applying powder to skin of a face using a point of contact with the face without smudging and removing makeup on the face, the point of contact being via the narrow tip end of the folium shaped makeup tool, thereby making contact with precision in hard to reach areas.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the makeup tool is double-sided and comprises a first layer and a second layer, wherein the first layer is joined to the second layer.

13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the first layer and the second layer of the makeup tool are both configured to apply powder.

14 . The method of claim 13 , further comprising:

bouncing the first layer of the makeup tool across the skin.

15 . The method of claim 14 , further comprising:

reversing the finger band to a side not being used against the skin to provide maximum surface area for a side being used and full grip of the makeup tool.

16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising:

rotating the makeup tool so that the first layer is facing away from the skin and the second layer is contacting the skin.

17 . The method of claim 15 , wherein reversing the finger band switches between covering a portion of the first layer and covering a portion of the second layer.

18 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:

providing full use of the first layer when the portion of the second layer is covered by the finger band.

19 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising:

providing full use of the second layer when the portion of the first layer is covered by the finger band.

20 . The method of claim 12 , wherein at least one of the first layer and the second layer comprises at least one of: a woven fabric and a knitted fabric to provide a plush surface.
