The method further includes receiving, from the base station, control information including in a downlink control channel, the control information indicating whether the base station is operating in an energy saving mode. The method further includes determining, based on the control information, whether the base station is operating in the energy saving mode. The method further includes modifying the receiving of the one or more resources in response to a determination the base station is operating in the energy saving mode.
