Abstract

A heat-shrinkable polyester film having excellent wrinkle resistance characteristics is provided. A heat-shrinkable polyester film satisfying the following configurations (a) to (c): (a) a thermal shrinkage ratio in the TD direction obtainable under the conditions of 10 seconds in hot water at 90° C. as designated as A2, is a value of 53% or greater; (b) a maximum shrinkage stress in the TD direction at 90° C. as designated as B is a value of 2 to 10 MPa; and (c) a value represented by B/A2 is a value of 0.08 to 0.15 MPa/%.

Claims (12)

1 . A heat-shrinkable polyester film satisfying the following configurations (a) to (c):

(a) when a main shrinkage direction is designated as TD direction, and a thermal shrinkage ratio in the TD direction obtainable in a case where the heat-shrinkable polyester film is caused to shrink under the conditions of 10 seconds in hot water at 90° C. is designated as A2, the A2 is set to a value of 53% or greater;

(b) a maximum shrinkage stress in the TD direction at a shrinkage temperature of 90° C. is designated as B, and the B is set to a value within the range of 2 to 10 MPa; and

(c) from the B and the A2, a numerical value represented by B/A2 is set to a value within the range of 0.08 to 0.15 MPa/%.

2 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein the heat-shrinkable polyester film further satisfies the following configuration (d):

(d) a thickness of the heat-shrinkable polyester film before shrinkage is designated as t, and from the B and the t, a numerical value represented by B/t is set to a value within the range of 0.05 to 0.40 MPa/μm.

3 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein the thickness t of the heat-shrinkable polyester film before shrinkage is set to a value within the range of 15 to 45 μm.

4 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein a thermal shrinkage ratio in the TD direction obtainable when the heat-shrinkable polyester film is caused to shrink in hot water at 80° C. under the conditions of 10 seconds is designated as A1, and the A1 is set to a value within the range of 40% to 70%.

5 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein a stretch ratio in an MD direction of the heat-shrinkable polyester film before shrinkage is set to a value within the range of 100% to 200%.

6 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein a stretch ratio in the TD direction of the heat-shrinkable polyester film before shrinkage is set to a value within the range of 300% to 600%.

7 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein a haze value of the heat-shrinkable polyester film before shrinkage as measured according to JIS K7105 is set to a value of 5% or less.

8 . The heat-shrinkable polyester film according to claim 1 , wherein the heat-shrinkable polyester film includes a non-crystalline polyester in an amount within the range of 90% to 100% by weight of a total quantity of resins.
